Steven Schloss Eliminated in 13th Place ($22,415)

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Steven Schloss
Steven Schloss

Richard Frandsen opened to 400,000 from early position, and when action folded round to Steven Schloss in the small blind, he moved all in for roughly 2,100,000. Frandsen made the call when the action got back to him, only to see the bad news.

Steven Schloss: AK All in
Richard Frandsen: AQ

Schloss wasn't feeling overly optimistic, though, despite having his opponent dominated. "I'll probably lose", he said.

The flop certainly didn't do his chances of survival any favours, coming out 10J9, giving Frandsen a straight draw.

The turn 2 was safe enough, but when Frandsen called for a king, the deck obliged, as the river K was revealed.

It took a moment for those at the table to register what had just happened, but when they did, Schloss took his leave and headed towards the exit.

Sticky Kings for Weitzel

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Lonny Weitzel has been driving the action at his table and this hand started out with him raising to 250,000. Damir Stefanic and Wesley Cameron called from the blinds.

Three ways they saw the 5Q7 fall. Both blinds checked and Weitzel pushed forward a bet of 3,000,000 and both his opponents folded.

Weitzel showed KK for the second time in two orbits.

Luske Jams to Clear Out Opponents

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Richard Jutte began the action with a raise to 300,000 from early position before Marcel Luske called from the cutoff. It folded to Lawrence Whyte in the big blind, who chose to call to send the trio to a flop.

Whyte bet 150,000 on the 1084 flop, and was called by Jutte. Luske decided to play for more and jammed all in for 1,735,000.

Both Whyte and Jutte folded to end the hand.

Weitzel Three-Bets the Small

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Wesley Cameron raised to 280,000 on the button and Lonny Weitzel responded with a raise to an even 2,000,000. Cameron didn't take too long thinking about it before he folded.

"Not better than these guys!", said Weitzel as he flashed the KK and collected the pot.

Namir Mohamed Eliminated in 14th Place ($17,932)

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Namir Mohamed

Lonny Weitzel raised to 225,000 under the gun and Namir Mohamed went all in on the button. Weitzel put in the call.

Namir Mohamed: A7 All in
Lonny Weitzel: AK

The board ran out 6J835 and Weitzel had the best ace-high to send Mohamed out of the tournament area.

Richard Murphy raised to 300,000 and Wesley Cameron went all in for 2,200,000. Murphy wasted no time calling.

Wesley Cameron: AQ All in

The flop elated Cameron right away as it scrolled across AQ7.

The turn brought the 10 and Murphy called for his straight outs but the river bricked the 3 and he was left to pay the bill.
