Kay Versus Ray in a Joshua Battle

Level 15
Joshua Kay
Joshua Kay

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Action was picked up on the flop in a hand between Joshua Kay in the cutoff and Joshua Ray in the big blind.

The flop read 84J and Ray moved all in for 38,000 and Kay called to put Ray at risk.

Joshua Ray: 7443 All in
Joshua Kay: AA97

Ray had flopped bottom set while Kay had flopped the nut flush draw and a gutter. The turn 10 gave Kay the straight and left Ray looking to improve his hand with a board pair, or to make a low and survive. The river Q changed nothing and Kay raked in the pot while Ray was eliminated from the tournament.
