Levy Makes the Right Fold

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Davy Levy raised to 500 from the hijack and called a three-bet of 1,200 from Marvin Rettenmaier, who was in the small blind.

Levy called a 1,700 bet from Rettenmaier on the J2J flop and a 4,200 bet from Rettenmaier on the Q turn.

The 5 completed the board and Rettenmaier put 7,300 into the middle — sending Levy deep into the tank.

After a couple of minutes, Levy said, "I've done this twice in my life," and open folded AA.

"I was ahead, wasn't I?" Levy asked Rettenmaier.

"You were... ahead preflop," Rettenmaier replied as he turned over AJ for trip jacks.

The two then shared a fist-bump and and Rettenmaier collected the pot.
