McMahon Rivers Lin

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Ren Lin
Ren Lin

Ren Lin opened to 1,000 from middle position and Carter McMahon defended his big blind.

On the Q65 flop, McMahon check-called a bet of 1,000 from Lin.

McMahon then led on the repeat 5 turn for 4,000 and Lin stuck around with a call.

On the 6 river, McMahon fired again for 10,000, sending Lin into the tank. After a little over a minute, Lin would compliment his opponent on a nice hand as he flicked in calling chips. McMahon tabled 42 for a rivered flush which was good as Lin flinged his cards into the muck.

This table has been selected for the main feature table for the PokerGO stream, where they will be moving on the break. Brian Hastings is also sat at the table with a healthy stack.

A Straight to Double for Schiavo

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

On a board of 5Q8K, Tianyi Ma under the gun bet 3,200 and Matthew Schiavo in the big blind raised all-in for 11,300. Ma went deep into the tank, even asking to the dealer how much he had to add to call. After a minute, he decided to call.

Matthew Schiavo: J10 All in
Tianyi Ma: AK

Ma called with top pair but Schiavo had a straight. The 10 river changed nothing and Schiavo doubled up.

Too Soon?

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Kevin Nathan
Kevin Nathan

The action was joined with a full board showing 82856 and slightly over 50,000 already in the pot.

Christopher Morgan had moved all in, covering his opponent's stack of 33,300, and action was on a tortured Kevin Nathan, who was trying to figure it all out.

After a few minutes had passed, Morgan called the clock on Nathan, and the floor staff were duly summoned to uphold the request.

"Clock? Already?" Nathan asked. "It's been three or four minutes now, was Morgan's retort.

Nathan didn't seem to dispute this fact, and the floor staff started the countdown.

As the clock struck zero, Nathan pitched his cards back to the dealer, surrendering the pot to his tablemate.

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Hung-Wei Shiue and Mathieu Leglehuir had a tense battle of the button versus the small blind.

Floor! Penalty?

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
James Chen
James Chen

Daisuke Sawayama from the small blind and James Chen from under the gun had created a pot of around 13,000 going into the river with the completed board reading Q103AJ.

Chen had a bet of 17,000 in front of him before Sawayama just called, which caused quite the confusion once the hands were revealed.

James Chen: KJ
Daisuke Sawayama: A6

Both players had flopped a flush with Sawayama having the best of it. Sawayama still held the stone-cold nuts on the river, despite just calling the bet from Chen. The entire tabled watched in confusion at the situation, as Chen was the one breathing a sigh of relief after getting off easy with the second nuts.

Brian Rast

After Mykola Kostyrko checked from the big blind on a flop of 5Q2, Brian Rast put out a bet from early position, with Russell Sartin calling from the hijack. Kostyrko check-raised to 7,300, which only Rast called.

Upon seeing the J turn, Kostyrko paused for a long time before checking the action over to Rast, who checked behind.

The A river got another check from Kostyrko, but Rast bet 12,300. Kostyrko deliberated for a while before ultimately folding and allowing Rast to drag in the pot.
