Miner Goes Into Depths of Tank

Level 18
Benjamin Miner
Benjamin Miner

Omaha Hi-Lo

Benjamin Miner raised in the hijack, and Eddie Blumenthal three-bet on the button. Miner called to the 973 flop, where he check-called a bet by Blumenthal.

Blumenthal continued betting on the Q turn, and Miner check-called again. Miner checked for a third time on the Q river. Blumenthal bet for a final time, and Miner spent about five minutes in thought as he was put all-in.

Eventually, the clock was called on him. Near the end of his countdown, he called off.

"Good call," Blumenthal stated. Miner rolled over AK72 for queens and sevens, and he was awarded the pot to double up.

Filippi Doubles Through Johnson

Level 18
Amnon Filippi
Amnon Filippi

2-7 Triple Draw

"Alright, who wants it?" Amnon Filippi said before raising from under the gun.

The answer was Marco Johnson, who three-bet on the button. Action folded back to Filippi, who went all in for 47,000 total. Johnson called to put Filippi at risk and it was down to the draws to decide Filippi's fate.

Filippi drew two, two, then one while Johnson drew two, one, then one.

Amnon Filippi: 8x5x4x2xAll in
Marco Johnson: 8x7x6x3x

Johnson flipped over a Kx first and Filippi peeled a 6x — leaving him best with an eight for the double up.

Razz

Nicolas Milgrom: 5x3x/Jx4x3x6x/3x
Aaron Kupin: 2x5x/10x4x10x9x/Qx

At one point prior to sixth street, Nicolas Milgrom had moved all in, and Aaron Kupin had looked him up.

Milgrom had a jack-low by sixth street, which remained the case when he paired up. Kupin did not improve on his ten-low either, but it was enough to eliminate the Frenchman.

Lopez and Negreanu Chop up Dzivielevski's Chips

Level 17
Sterling Lopez
Sterling Lopez

Omaha Hi-Lo

Three ways on a board of 745Q with Yuri Dzivielevski already all in from under the gun, Sterling Lopez bet from the big blind and Daniel Negreanu called.

The 9 completed the board and Negreanu called another bet from Lopez, who showed AA72 for aces with the best low.

Negreanu revealed A764 for two pair and Dzivielevski tabled A853 — which meant Lopez would take low and Negreau would take the high to eliminate Dzivielevski.

Ray Fishman
Ray Fishman

Ray Fishman: 7x5x4x3x All in
Stephen Dauphinais: 8x7x4x3x2x

Fishman needed a deuce to stay alive, but he received a Qx instead to be eliminated.

Miner Ends Israelashvili's Run

Level 17

Stud Hi-Lo

Roland Israelashvili: K8/84JQ/4All in
Benjamin Miner: A9/2392/8

Roland Israelashvili completed and Benjamin Miner defended his bring-in.

Miner called a bet from Israelashvili on fourth street and then raised a bet from Israelashvili on fifth to put Israelashvili all in. Israelashvili called and boards were run.

Israelashvili would need some help against Miner's nines and deuces, but Israelashvili ended with an inferior two pair to be eliminated.

Joshua Rhodes: XxXx/Ax5xQx2x - folded on sixth street
Josh Arieh: XxXx/AxQx8x5x/Xx
Scott Lake: 7x6x3x/AxKx5x4x

Joshua Rhodes bet on fourth street, with Josh Arieh and Scott Lake calling. It then checked to Lake on fifth street. He bet and received two calls. Rhodes checked again on sixth street, but Arieh led out.

Lake raised, Rhodes folded, and Arieh called. Arieh check-called a final time on seventh street, but he mucked his cards when Lake showed a six-low.

Rhodes, meanwhile, was left with about three big bets, which he lost in the very next hand to be eliminated.
