Celaya Avoids Disaster

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Raul Celaya got his stack of around 17,000 into the middle from the button, and Mohamed Mohamud looked to send him to the rail from the small blind.

Raul Celaya: AK All in
Mohamed Mohamud: AK

With both players holding the same hand, a chopped pot looked the most likely outcome. However, those odds shifted heavily in Mohamud's favor after the 882 flop gave him a flush draw.

Celaya jokingly pleaded with the dealer not to put out a club, perhaps hoping reverse psychology would do the trick.

It looked to work as the remaining board ran out K7, and the pot was chopped.
