Robert Rohr was sitting under the gun and had already committed 5,000 to the pot. Harish Ananthapadmanabha was sitting two seats to his left and reraised to 15,000. Action was back on Rohr, and he went into a long tank. With just 17,000 behind he was asked to commit nearly half his stack pre-flop.
Rohr decided to call, and as he did so Ananthapadmanabha asked, "how much do you have behind?" The players saw the 9♦Q♣4♦ flop and Rohr made a swift check. Ananthapadmanabha took no time before flicking in a T-25,000 chip to put Rohr all in.
Rohr went into another two-minute long tank and during that time Ananthapadmanabha was guessing Rohr's hand. "Ace-king? Pocket kings?" A player at the table called the pair out for discussing hands at the table, and they were given a warning from the floor not to continue discussing during live action.
Rohr stacked up his remaining chips into one pile and moved them across the line slowly to make the call. He stood from the table as the cards were turned over.

With two overs and the backdoor flush, Rohr was behind Ananthapadmanabha's pair of queens. There was some hope on the 7♦ turn, but Rohr said, "GG, good game," as the 6♣ river was placed and he was eliminated from the Main Event. A player joked to the floor who was still stood at the table, "You can give him a penalty now!"
The table continued to discuss the hand after Rohr left the table with Ananthapadmanabha saying, "You can tell he didn't want to call, but the pot was already so big."
Another player looked to Ananthapadmanabha and said "thanks buddy, didn't appreciate having him on my left," as Rohr had clearly put up a good fight throughout the day.
