Gallagher continued for 3,500 on the 2♣2♠8♥ flop before both opponents called.
The action slowed down on the A♣ turn as all three remaining players checked.
Tarcau led out for 4,500 on the 4♥ river to resume the betting. Gallagher called, but Marsico folded.
Tarcau tapped the table in resignation as he showed 3♣3♠ for two pair. He was correct that they were no good as Gallagher tabled J♠J♦ for a higher two pair to claim the pot.
