Selami Bets Out Quoss on the River
Level 16
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Fabian Quoss raised to 16,000 in middle position and Evan Sandberg called in the hijack. Christopher Selami, wearing his trademark Sonic the Hedgehog toque, then three-bet to 80,000 in the small blind.
Quoss came back with a four-bet to 190,000 and Sandberg got out of the way. Selami, though, called to see the Q♥5♣9♠ flop. Quoss then bet 100,000, and Selami again called.
Both players checked the 3♦ turn. Selami then led out for 150,000 on the 5♦ river, and Quoss folded.
Scott Lazar, the 2005 Main Event finalist, is also in this section with a stack of more than 500,000. "I'm just grateful to be here," Lazar said.
