Nikolaos Kontizas was under the gun and in a 2,000 pot against Fredrico Senno in the small blind.
The pair had already seen the 6♣3♦3♥ flop, and they had just been dealt the Q♠ turn.
Senno checked and action was on Kontizas, and he opted to bet out 3,200. Senno called to see the 3♠ fall on the river and action checked to showdown.
Senno flipped over his 9♥9♦ for the boat and Kontizas mucked.
After two checks from the blinds on the 10♥J♣5♥ flop, Eric Fry bet 1,200 from the cutoff. Normand Barao was the only caller out of the small blind.
Barao checked for a second time when he saw the Q♦ turn, and Fry fired a second barrel of 1,200. Barao instantly called.
The 2♠ on the river caused Barao to lead out for 2,000, which Fry called.
Barao tabled J♦10♠ for two pair to take down the pot as Fry showed Q♥9♥ for a pair of queens.
There was over 13,000 in the pot on a flop that read A♥6♦9♥. Levon Rshtuni bet 8,000 from middle position and was called by Hyeungill Lee on the button.
Rshtuni did not slow down on the Q♣ turn as he wagered 11,000. Lee obliged with a call.
Both players checked the 6♠ river to go to a showdown.
Rshtuni showed A♠Q♠ for aces and queens. A disappointed Lee shook his head and showed A♣K♣ as the turn cost him the pot, and instead, Rshtuni got the early good start.
Seeing a limp under the gun ahead of him, Kevin Ouellette raised to 700 in middle position. Mike Clair called in the big blind, but the limper folded.
The action checked through on a Q♣K♥K♣ flop, but when Clair checked for a second time on the 9♣ turn, Ouellette bet 500, which Clair called.
The 2♥ completed the board, and Clair check-called for a second time when Ouellette bet 1,300.
Ouellette tabled A♣Q♠, and Clair mucked his hand.
In three way action to the 6♠5♥2♥9♦8♣ river, Lauren Bunch made it 3,000 to go out of the blinds. She got one opponent to fold before Ronald West then raised it up to 7,000. Bunch called to get shown 5♦4♦ for just a pair of fives and gutshot, which she had beat holding the 9♠7♠ for the nine-high straight.
Up until the A♥9♠6♣9♥6♠ river, there were around 10,000 in the middle, and Michael Tweedlie checked. Bastian Doehler bet 4,000 only to get check-raised to 15,000. It took around one minute for Doehler to call, and he was shown the 8♥6♥ for sixes full of nines by Tweedlie, which won the sizable pot in the opening stages.
Arriving on a 6♠3♦K♦J♥ turn with 3,900 in the middle, Martin Jacobson checked from the big blind to Juan Cantu in the cutoff, who checked back.
Jacobson checked again on the 2♠ river, seeing his opponent bet 2,700. Jacobson spent about a minute in thought before he called. Cantu revealed A♠K♣ for top pair, and Jacobson added his cards to the muck in defeat.
In a pot of around 16,000 to the three-way turn of 9♥9♠6♠5♥, Julian Pineda Lozano made it 8,000 to go when checked to. His first opponent quickly folded, and Filippos Giaprakis gave it some thought before he also tossed his cards into the muck.
Alan Wong raised the button to pick up two callers, and Richard Ellis was the only one to check-call the A♠8♣3♥ flop for 1,300. The A♣ turn was checked, and Ellis also checked the K♦ on the river. Wong bet 2,600, and that won the pot uncontested.
