Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Kevin Eyster
Kevin Eyster

Kevin Eyster opened from the cutoff and Anthony Apicella three-bet to 10,000 from the small blind. Eyster topped up to call, and the players headed to the flop.

The dealer fanned the K7Q, which prompted Apicella to bet 7,000. Eyster called and the A was turned.

Apicella fired out 27,000 into the pot and Eyster took some time before jamming and covering Apicella's remaining 52,000 stack. It didn't take long for Apicella to muck his hand and Eyster took the pot without showdown.

Norris Shows Jackman His Ace

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Film star Sarah Jackman limped in from early position before Bryan Norris raised to 2,500 on her left. The raise was called by Chris Moorman on the button, Marcel Rettich in the small blind, and Markus Struber in the big blind, with Jackman coming along as well.

On the 992 flop, it checked to Moorman who bet 3,200. The blinds folded, but Jackman called after a small tank and Norris called as well.

The A turn checked through to the 4 river which saw Jackman lead for 4,000. Norris quickly called before Moorman got out of the way. Jackman revealed 77, but she came second to the AQ of Norris.

Hunkins Ends it on Flop

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Brian Hunkins opened to 2,500 from under the gun before Manuel Janas called from the small blind. Edouard Debrousse was inclined to put more chips in with a three-bet to 11,200 from the big blind. Hunkins called, but Janas said goodbye to his hand with a fold.

The 8AQ flop resulted in a check by Debrousse. Hunkins was not in the checking mood as he put enough chips to put Debrousse all-in. Debrousse took an inventory of his stack but ultimately decided on a fold as Hunkins took down the pot.

Brad Booth Returns to WSOP Main Event After More Than a Decade

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Brad Booth
Brad Booth

For the first time in well over a decade, Brad Booth is back in the World Series of Poker Main Event.

The Canadian, affectionately known as "Yukon Brad," was one of the biggest personalities of poker's boom years. From battling in Bobby's Room to pulling off one of the most memorable bluffs in High Stakes Poker history against Phil Ivey, Booth was never far from the spotlight.

Booth believes the last time he played the Main Event was around 2012, and after years away from the WSOP and a well-documented fall from the high-stakes scene, he's back in poker's biggest tournament with a very different outlook.

Galatola Straightens Zarhi Out

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The hand was picked up after Albert Zarhi four-bet shoved all-in from the hijack. Paul Patouilliart, who three-bet to 10,000 from the cutoff, called. As did Michele Galatola, the original raiser from under the gun.

When the flop hit K610, Galatola and Patouilliart checked on the side pot. Patouilliart folded after a Galatola bet on the 7 turn.

Michele Galatola: 98

The hand was already over with Galatola having turned a straight. The 2 on the river was meaningless.
