Jorgensen Wins One Without Showdown

Xiao Probst raised to 1,700 from early position to see Stuart Pfeifer call in middle position and Theo Jorgensen defend his big blind.

The flop rolled out AJ6 and action checked through to the 7 turn where Jorgensen bet 2,500 to see only Pfeifer call.

On the river 10, Jorgensen bet 5,000 and Pfeifer tossed his hand away.

Coleman Takes from Ackerman

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

David Coleman from the cutoff and Ethan Ackerman from the big blind had a substantial three-bet pot brewing as the board read 8432 on the turn. Ackerman checked to Coleman who bet 15,000, and Ackerman put in the call after some deliberation.

On the 2 river, Ackerman checked again to Coleman who was content to do the same.

"Ace-high," Ackerman announced, but Coleman didn't budge as Ackerman eventually tabled AK. Coleman then revealed 87 for a flopped top pair to drag the pot.

Herrmann Hits the Rail

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Leonard Herrmann open-jammed for 4,900 from middle position and Yitzchok Vizel called from the hijack. Wallace Dawkins also called on the button and another player at the table said "Good luck...the best you can ask for is a triple up."

The Q82 flop was checked by both non-all-in players to see the Q turn.

Vizel bet 6,000 which was enough to see Dawkins muck and the players flipped their hands.

There was no hope for Herrmann as Vizel had a pair of eights and also holding an ace. The 7 river was placed and Herrmann hit the rail in the first level of the day.

Sasha Liu had only entered today and previously doubled her stack before she clashed in a big pot with Suren Dharanikota. On a flop of 1065, Dharanikota check-raised from 6,000 to 20,000 and Liu called before Dharanikota bet the 5 turn for 50,000. Liu called.

Dharanikota instantly bet the 7 river for 120,000 and Liu took only a short while before she called all-in. Dharanikota tabled the KK but Liu had that beat with the J5 for trips fives.

Pierre Mothes raised to 2,000 from early position, Patrick Braga three-bet to 5,500 from middle position, and Manuel Ruivo, on his direct left, four-bet to 12,000. Mothes folded, but Braga made the call.

The flop came 232, and Ruivo continued the aggression with a bet of 7,000, which Braga called. Ruivo didn't slow down on the J turn, firing out another bet, this time for 25,000. Braga quickly released his hand.

Freedman Keeps Firing

Matthew Zambanini was the first to act and limped to get the hand started. Steven Belland made it 1,600 from the next seat over. Noam Freedman made it more when he three-bet to 4,200 from the cutoff. Robin Dale called on the button, while both Zambanini and Belland folded.

Freedman continued for 4,000 on the 4410 flop, and Dale called.

The J turn led to a second barrel of 7,500 from Freedman.

Dale stayed in the hand with a call to usher in the 3 river. Freedman kept up his betting ways, this time, with a wager of 25,000. Dale gave it some thought, but decided on a fold as Freedman fired three barrels to win without a showdown.

Therme Shoves on Dong

On a flop of 973, Vera Dong from the big blind check-raised a bet from Jonathan Therme who was in early position. Therme called to create a pot of around 15,000.

Dong continued on the 8 turn for 6,500 and Therme called once again.

On the K river, Dong took some time before she elected to check and Therme jammed for 43,000 effective as the covering stack. Dong grimaced as she was forced to let her hand go, and Therme collected the pot without showdown.

Sarah Lee bet 9,000 from the hijack on a board of 10A25 and Billy McBrayer called in the cutoff. Pluria Marshall then moved all in for 30,500 from the big blind and Lee called, while McBrayer tanked for a few minutes before giving up his hand.

Marshall showed AQ for top pair, but Lee had two pair with A10. The 10 river improved Lee to a full house, and Marshall was sent to the rail.

Nakai check-called a 3,000 bet from Butler on the 4J4 flop and a 7,100 bet from Butler on the J turn.

The Q completed the board and Nakai checked a final time. Butler bet 10,000 and Nakai tanked a while before raising to 50,000.

Butler open folded 95 and Nakai showed he held KJ for a full house before collecting the pot.
