The flop rolled out AJ8 to see action check to Newman, who bet 10,000, to see both Brown and Liu continue.

Action checked through on the turn K to the river 9, where Liu bet 20,000 and won the pot.

Luke Tavis raised to 4,500 under the gun, which only Rene-Charles Angelil called on the button.

Once the dealer had provided the 463 flop, Tavis continued with another bet of 4,500. Angelil wasted no time inflating the pot, raising to 14,000. Tavis made an immediate decision on how to respond.

"This is how much of a nit I am", Tavis said as he folded 1010 face up, sure he was behind.

Angelil responded by windmilling 98 across the table.

Robinson Trips Up Raber

Andrew Robinson opened to 4,000 on the button before Jason Raber three-bet to 16,000 from the small blind.

Robinson made the call and sent them to a flop of 339. Raber continued for 8,000, and Robinson made the call.

The 10 did not slow Raber down, as he fired a second barrel for 25,000. Robinson was unfazed and made the call.

Raber slowed down with a check on the 5 river. Raber took a stack of chips and put them in the middle. Raber asked for a count, and it equaled out to 75,500. Rabe gave it some consideration before he put in the call by pushing a chip towards the middle.

Robinson showed A3 for trip tres to take a big chunk from Raber late on Day 2d.

Naim Sniffs Out a Bluff From Williams

Aubrey Williams and Ibrahim Naim were heads-up on a flop of Q3K when Williams bet 21,000 from the big blind. Naim called in early position.

Both players checked the 7 turn, and Williams then bet 62,000 on the 9 river. Naim only took a few seconds before calling again.

Williams showed AJ for ace-high, while Naim had AK for top pair to win the pot.

The 876 flop gave Madhariwar a flush draw, and he could also chop when the possible straight draw appeared on the 9 turn. The straight on the board indeed came, but it was the 10 river that awarded the double to Madhariwar instead.

Okamoto check-called a 15,000 bet from Lombard on the 87A flop and a 50,000 barrel from Lombard on the 9 turn.

Both players checked on the J river and Okamoto showed AK for top pair, top kicker. It was no good, however, as Lombard revealed A7 for two pair to claim the pot.
