Toledo Folds the Best Hand

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Arnaud Mattern opened to 6,500 from middle position, and Delmiro Toledo on his direct left stuck in the call. Max Petzelberger then three-bet to 30,000 from the small blind, and only Toledo called.

He didn't slow down on the 393 flop, firing out a bet of 20,000, which saw Toledo instantly call. The J peeled off on the turn, and this time the German sized up to 75,000. Toledo thought for a while, then began to mumble to his opponent. "I fold the best hand," he added while releasing his cards.

He carried on talking at Petzelberger, who remained stoic.

Friendly Table

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Yong Han raised to 7,000 in the cutoff and faced a three-bet to 21,000 from Renta Kris Gatos in the small blind, which he called.

Gatos continued with a bet of 15,000 on a K103 flop, which drew a frustrated fold from Han, who tabled his 88. Gatos let his tablemate know he was behind the whole time, showing him JJ.

Action was picked up on the turn in a pot between Yubin Tao in the cutoff and Jiasheng Cai on the button.

Speer on the Wrong End of Set Over Set

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Alexander Ivarsson bet 22,000 from the cutoff on the 6810 flop, and Victor De Los Santos raised to 52,000 from middle position. Aaron Speer cold-called from the hijack, while Ivarsson got out of the way.

The Q landed on the turn and De Los Santos led for 75,000. Speer stuck around with a call.

When the 5 completed the board, De Los Santos fired another 75,000, and Speer immediately called.

De Los Santos tabled QQ for a turned set of queens, which was enough to beat Speer's 88 for a flopped set.

Minor Setback for Simao

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Joao Simao raised to 6,500 in middle position, which Skyler Dennis called before the big blind joined in as well.

Simao continued for 8,000 on a 3A9 flop, which Dennis called, but the big blind check-folded.

Both the 8 turn and the 3 river checked through, and Simao let Dennis know he was good. Even so, Simao had a look of surprise on his face when Dennis tabled J9 for just a pair of nines, but still mucked his cards, seeing Dennis take the pot.

No Dub for Dubinskyy

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Cutoff Igor Dubinskyy got his stack of 135,000 in preflop against Shannon Fahey under the gun, who slightly covered her opponent.

Igor Dubinskyy: AK All in
Shannon Fahey: AA

Although the 9AK flop looked good for Dubinskyy's hand, it did not help him very much. The 10 turn left him drawing dead, and the meaningless 3 river hit the board before he booked his departure.
