Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Thomas Cardona
Thomas Cardona

Michael Conoran raised to 100,000 on the button and Thomas Cardona called in the small blind. Conoran then moved all in on the J108 flop, and Cardona called for his last 710,000.

Thomas Cardona: KQ All in
Michael Conoran: AA

Cardona had straight and flush draws, but he was drawing thin against Conoran's aces and nut flush draw. The 8 turn took away some of Cardona's outs, and he also missed the 4 river and was sent to the rail on one of the last hands of the night.

DJ Sharma

Sam Snead raised to 150,000 in middle position. "I'm coming for you," he said to Will Givens.

"I know you are. Sam, I like it, though. I eat people like you all the time," Givens replied.

Alen Bakovic, in the meanwhile, called in the hijack, as did DJ Sharma on the button. Givens also came along from the big blind.

The flop came K32 and Bakovic bet 175,000. Sharma and Givens called, while Snead got out of the way.

All three players checked the 3 turn. Givens then led out for 500,000 on the 5 river and Bakovic folded.

"You messing with me, bro? Now I have to pay you," Sharma said to Givens.

"100 percent. I bet into two people. I counted on one of you," Givens replied.

Sharma then raised to 1,200,000, and Givens instantly announced a reraise to 2,500,000. Sharma took a minute before calling, and Givens showed 54 for two pair. Sharma, though, had rivered a flush with 102.

"Bro, I got full houses. You crazy. You crazy," Givens said as he got up to give Sharma a big hug.

"Big one," Sharma yelled out to his rail.

Wesley Fei
Wesley Fei

"Wes Side" Wesley Fei thought he was out of the WSOP Main Event on Day 3. He lost a big pot and was heading out the door before being called back to the table as he still had a few chips left.

The Chinese high roller known for his appearances on Hustler Casino Live took that small stack and built it up to reach Day 5, which began with 533 remaining players at 11 a.m. PT on Friday. He was a tad below average stack with 44 big blinds when the session began. But, given where he was two days earlier, he'll take it.

Daigle Takes from Liu

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Zhao Liu kicked the action off with a raise to 100,000 in the hijack, and faced a three-bet to 280,000 from Marshall Daigle on the button. When the action folded back to Liu, he called.

Liu then opted to check-raise on a 45J flop, making it 475,000 after Daigle had continued for 175,000. Undeterred, Daigle called the raise.

Both the 5 turn and the 6 river were checked through.

"Ace-high", Liu told Daigle, who then tabled his AJ for two pair to claim the pot, as Liu mucked his hand.
