Myles Mullaly opened for 20,000 from hijack and was re-raised by Josh Reichard in the small blind to 38,000. Mullaly called to see the flop.
The dealer fanned 6♥5♥3♥. Reichard made an overbet of 125,000 covering what Mullaly had behind.
Mullaly, with 90,000 left, took a significant time to think about what to do next. Reichard called his hand, but Mullaly remained expressionless.
After a few seconds, Mullaly conceded both his hand and the pot to Reichard.
Rafael Perry, in middle position, opened to 20,000 and got two callers in the blinds, Tyler Cornell in the small and Pedro Garcia in big.
The flop dropped J♦6♦3♣. After the blinds checked, Perry continued with 16,000 and Cornell called. Garcia, with other plans, raised to 100,000 sending Perry to the tank. Perry considered his options while Cornell started counting his chips.
Perry finally folded and Cornell followed suit.
Martin Kabrhel opened to 22,000 from middle position and faced immediate resistance when John Hennigan jammed for 168,000 one seat to his left.
The action returned to Kabrhel, who went deep into the tank. After some time had passed, another player at the table called the clock, to which Kabrhel responded by snap-folding.
Myles Mullaly raised to 20,000 on the button.
Daniyal Gheba made the call out of the big blind and sent them to a flop of 7♣Q♠K♣.
Both players checked the flop to bring the 2♣ turn.
Gheba checked before Mullaly bet 25,000. Gheba responded with a check-raise to 125,000.
Mullaly mulled it over before he relinquished his hand to award the pot to Gheba.
Brandon Cantu moved all in from the big blind after Brandon Hamlet raised from the cutoff to 25,000. Hamlet made the call, and the battle of the Brandons began.
Brandon Cantu: A♦10♣
Brandon Hamlet: 4♣4♥
The board went 6♦A♥2♣8♣K♦, and Cantu's pair of aces earned him double his stack.
All of Anthony Marquez's 250,000-or-so chips went into the middle preflop, and it was Pedro Garcia who was trying to win them all.
Anthony Marquez: 10♦10♣
Pedro Garcia: Q♣Q♦
Marquez looked set for the rail, that was until the K♣5♣10♠ flop fell to give him a set. The 3♦ turn and J♦ river changed nothing, and Marquez doubled up.
At the same time, on a neighbouring table, Vitor Dzivielevski was eliminated.
Myles Mullaly opened to 20,000 from under the gun. After action folded to the big blind, Renji Mao made the call.
The flop came 10♠7♣6♥. Mao check-called Mullaly's continuation bet of 30,000 leading to the K♥ turn.
After another check, Mullaly fired 75,000, keeping the pressure up. Mao, visibly wondering what his opponent could have, spent a few seconds mulling over his action. Finally, he went beyond and made it 225,000, putting Mullaly all-in, if called.
Unable to call, Mullaly folded his hand to fight another hand.
Vladas Tamasauskas opened to 20,000 from middle position and found himself facing a three-bet to 60,000 by Chih Fan I in the cutoff.
The action folded back to Tamasauskas, who, after some consideration, moved all in covering Fan's remaining stack. Fan wasted no time in returning his cards to the dealer.
Daniyal Gheba raised to 20,000 under the gun before Anatoly Nikitin three-bet to 60,000 from the next seat. When it got to Myles Mullaly in the big blind, he four-bet jammed for 161,000, which got Gheba to fold. Nikitin pondered for a few moments before making the call to put Mullaly at risk.
Myles Mullaly: A♥K♠
Anatoly Nikitin: A♣6♣
Mullaly was poised to double up if he could dodge a six or some clubs on the runout.
The ace-king high of Mullaly stayed best on the 10♦5♥8♠9♠2♥ board, and he doubled through Nikitin.
