Matthew Schreiber raised to 20,000 in the hijack. Yu Li defended his big blind and subsequently checked the 5♥9♦2♥ flop. Schreiber continued with a bet of 25,000, which Li called.

Schreiber then sized up to 100,000 on the J♣ turn. Li check-raised all in for 299,000, and Schreiber looked his opponent up after some thinking time.

Matthew Schreiber: Q♥J♦8♦3♥

Schreiber was ahead with his pair of queens, but Li hit a straight on the 8♣ river to double up, becoming one of the bigger stacks in the room.

In a four-bet pot to the 9♠Q♥5♥ flop, Brad Ruben bet from the small blind, and Allen Le called on the button. The Q♦ turn then checked through to the 10♠ river, which Ruben also checked.

Le then bet, and Ruben let his cards go after some thought.

Meanwhile, at another table, Greg Mueller got his last chips in in a hand of Omaha hi-lo against Mike Leah, and could not win either half of the pot to be eliminated.

Picking up the action on fifth street, Thomas Taylor bet with an open pair of fives. Matt Vengrin raised, folding out Antonios Onoufriou, and Taylor called.

Taylor then checked sixth street over to Vengrin. Vengrin fired a bet, and Taylor raised his opponent all in. Vengrin took some time to count his remaining chips, but eventually deemed the price too good and called.

Taylor tabled a full house, leaving Vengrin looking for a king or a jack. He did not find one on seventh street, and walked off to pick up his payout.

After a minute or so, Williamson showed kings-up and tossed it into the muck. Schindler did not show, but she was still awarded the pot.

At another table, Ian Pelz committed his final chips on fifth street against Blaz Zerjav. Zerjav had made two pair and was guaranteed the pot when Pelz did not improve his aces.

He made a full house on seventh street to end the hand in style, officially sending Pelz to the rail.

Omaha Hi-Lo

Allan Le raised from the cutoff and was three-bet by Brad Ruben. Michael Noori called cold in the small blind and Le called as well for a bloated three-way pot.

Noori led out for a bet on the K♥3♣6♦ flop and Le raised. Ruben made it three bets to go and Noori moved all in for slightly more. Lee called and Ruben called all in for a three-way showdown.

Michael Noori: A♦7♣4♣2♠ All in
Allan Le: A♥9♥6♠2♥

Noori was rooting for a five, but the Q♦K♣ runout left Ruben best with a full house for the main pot, while Le took the side with his six to eliminate Noori from contention.
