Phil Ivey raised to 350,000 with the A♣8♣7♥2♥ and Josh Arieh three-bet the pot with the A♦K♥4♠3♥, which Ivey called. The flop came 9♣8♥6♦ and Ivey bet 800,000 to force out Arieh.
Arieh then raised to 300,000 with the Q♦J♦10♦6♥ and Ivey defended the big blind with the K♥10♠3♠2♥ to see a flop of 7♣6♣5♠, which was checked through to the 7♠ turn. Ivey checked again and Arieh bet 250,000 to win the pot.
Ivey then limped the small blind and Arieh raised to 300,000 with the A♦A♣K♣6♥. Ivey called with the 8♠8♣7♣2♠ to check-call the 10♠4♦3♠ flop for 200,000. The Q♥ came on the turn and Ivey check-folded to a bet of 600,000.
After the hand, the final three players went on a scheduled 15-minute break.
