Negreanu Glad to Face Spaniard

Level 23 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Negreanu and Helppi Trade Pots

Level 23 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Daniel Negreanu raised to 180,000 on the button, and Juha Helppi defended his big blind.

Helppi then checked the A44 flop, and Negreanu put 80,000 into the middle. Helppi then check-raised to 225,000, and Negreanu called. He didn't slow down, as the Finn bet 400,000 on the K turn. Negreanu used a time bank before folding.

Pot-Limit Omaha

Following the game switch, Helppi raised to 200,000 from the cutoff, and Negreanu called from the big blind.

Both players knuckled the 8410 flop, prompting Negreanu to bet 225,000 on the 3 turn. Helppi called, and action checked through again on the 2 river.

"Two pair," announced Negreanu, tabling 42 followed by 75. Helppi mucked his hand.

No-Limit Hold'em

Dylan Linde called in the small blind and in the big blind, Daniel Negreanu raised to 280,000 to see Linde call.

Parssinen Left with One Time Bank

Level 22 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Eelis Parssinen limped in under the gun, and Edward Leonard potted to 270,000 on his left. Parssinen called, and the two went off to see three.

Action ended up checking through the 329 flop, as well as the 6 turn, bringing in the 6 river. Parssinen checked for a third time, and Leonard put 350,000 into the middle.

This bet send Parssinen deep into the tank, as he flicked in time bank after time bank, until he had used four of his five. Eventually, after two minutes, he flicked in a call.

Leonard could only table AK105 for ace-high, and Parssinen scooped with J987 for top pair.
