Rotholz Pips Le on Fifth Card

Nam Le raised in the cutoff and Hal Rotholz called in the small blind, holding just 50,000 behind.

Rotholz drew two and Le one, and the action checked through.

On the second draw, Rotholz stood pat and Le took one again. However, the action would check through again.

Both patted on the end, and Rotholz led, putting half his remaining stack in.

"Really?" Le immediately replied, pained by the decision. After a minute's tank, he put in the call. Rotholz tabled 8x7x5x4x2x, and Le smirked as he showed 8x7x5x4x3x, being pipped by Rotholz on the final card.

Smith, Schulman Take Pots

Justin Smith drew two on the first draw, and John Juanda drew one. Juanda then bet from the cutoff, and Smith called in the small blind.

Smith drew two more and Juanda one. Juanda bet again, but this time Smith raised. Juanda called and took one, while Smith stood pat.

Both players checked, and Smith showed 9x8x7x3x2x to win the pot.

At another table, Nick Schulman led out for a bet from the small blind after the first draw and Koji Fujimoto called in the big blind.

Schulman stood pat and bet, while Fujimoto took one and called. Both players stood pat and Schulman bet again. Fujimoto called, and Schulman turned over 8x6x5x4x2x as he took in the pot.

Michael Falk raised on the button and Andrew Yeh three-bet in the small blind. Tommy Hang called in the big blind, as did Falk.

All three players drew two and Yeh bet his last 12,000. Hang then raised, and Falk called.

They each drew one, and Hang and Falk checked. Hang and Falk then took one, while Yeh stood pat.

Action was checked down once more, and Yeh showed 7x6x5x4x2x. Both Hang and Falk showed aces as they mucked, and Yeh tripled up.

Jon Turner and Michael Rodrigues were recently eliminated, bringing the field within four spots of the money.

Yeh Triples; Roland Rues His Fold

Andrew Yeh raised all in for 18,000 from the hijack, Scott Seiver raised on the button, and Mark Roland called in the big blind.

Everybody drew one card as Roland check-called a bet from Seiver on the side pot.

On the second draw, Roland and Yeh took one while Seiver stood pat, and Roland check-folded to a bet from Seiver.

Yeh then announced that he was bad, putting Seiver into the blender.

"Don't sweat, I'm either taking one or two," Seiver explained.

"I'm the worst player in the world," Roland joked after hearing that Seiver had to break, and he ultimately drew one, throwing away a nine.

Seiver made the right breaking decision, but he peeled a 10x, giving Yeh the triple, and leaving Seiver short again.

Coin Flip Comes Up Heads For Turner

Naoya Kihara raised in the cutoff and Jon Turner called for his last 18,000 in the small blind. Patrick Stacey also called in the big blind.

Stacey and Turner drew two and Kihara one. Kihara then bet, and Stacey called to create a side pot.

Turner drew two, while Stacey and Kihara drew one. Stacey then led out with a bet, and Kihara folded.

"I'm 50-50 to have a wheel right now," Turner said as he made his decision going to the fifth draw. He ended up patting, and Stacey patted behind him. Turner did, indeed, turn over 7x5x4x3x2x, and Stacey mucked.

Todd Brunson raised from the hijack and Michael Rodrigues called from the big blind.

Both drew two and Rodrigues led, getting a quick call from Brunson.

Rodrigues now stood pat while Brunson drew one, and he called another bet.

Brunson still needed one on the final draw as Rodrigues led again, which Brunson called. Rodrigues tabled 8x6x4x3x2x and his eight-six was best, with Brunson flashing an eight as he mucked.

On the first hand back from break, Tommy Hang raised under the gun and Scott Seiver three-bet in the hijack. Andrew Kelsall then four-bet in the cutoff.

"Did you guys have a good dinner?" tablemate Mark Roland asked.

"I had pizza and chicken wings," Kelsall replied.

"I had nothing. I went to play the Tag Team," Seiver added.

Hang called Kelsall's raise, while Seiver then made it five bets. Both Kelsall and Hang called.

Hang drew two, Seiver one, and Kelsall patted. Kelsall bet, and both opponents called.

Kelsall patted and bet again on the second draw, and Hang and Seiver called after taking one. They drew one again on the last draw, and Kelsall stood pat.

All three players checked, and Kelsall showed 8x5x4x3x2x. Seiver said he made a pair of sevens as he mucked, while Hang also mucked.

"Slice of pizza, five wings, and a Dr. Pepper," Kelsall elaborated as he raked in the big pot.
