Ostapchenko Chops To Survive

Level 18

Kao Saechao called to see Gustavo Campos complete and Kurt Maier called behind him. Daniel Negreanu raised and Ostapchenko raised on top to see Campos, Maier, and Negreanu call.

Andrew Ostapchenko: XxXx/K745/Xx All in
Gustavo Campos: XxXx/28A5/Xx
Daniel Negreanu: XxXx/108J4/Xx
Kurt Maier: XxXx/42Q - Folded on fifth

Ostapchenko bet all in for 9,000 on fourth street to see all three of his opponents call.

Campos bet on fifth street to see Maier fold and Negreanu call.

Sixth and seventh street saw Campos bet each time to see Negreanu call twice.

"Kings up," said Ostapchenko as he tabled K52 for kings and fives to take half of the main. Campos tabled 663 for a six-low to take the low half, while Negreanu showed AAK for a pair of aces, good to take half of the six.

Bronshtein Bites the Dust

Level 18
Yuval Bronshtein
Yuval Bronshtein

Yuval Bronshtein: 75/6KJJ/J All in
Robert Mitchell: XxXx/6KQ - folded on fifth street
Eric Buchman: XxXx/A - folded on third street
Kane Kalas: A3/A8KA/4
Blaz Zerjav: XxXx/Q - folded on third street

Robert Mitchell brought in, Eric Buchman called, and Kane Kalas completed. Blaz Zerjav called before Yuval Bronshtein made it two bets. Mitchell called, Buchman mucked, and Kalas three-bet, folding out Zerjav.

Bronshtein called, but Mitchell made it four bets to go. Kalas capped the betting at five bets, Bronshtein called all in, and Mitchell called as well.

Kalas kept firing on fourth and fifth street. Mitchell called the former bet, but reluctantly folded to the latter. Kalas showed Bronshtein a pair of aces, which turned into three of a kind on sixth street.

Bronshtein had no outs left in the deck, and he said his goodbyes as seventh street presented him with a meaningless third jack.

It was lights out on sixth for Ponomarev as he was eliminated while Bach climbed back over the 300k mark.

Myerson Doubles Through Bagheri

Level 18

Alan Myerson completed and David Bagheri called after bringing in.

Alan Myerson: A4/7A86/Q All in
David Bagheri: 64/55210/J

Bagheri bet to put Myerson all in on fourth and he called to put himself at risk for his last 2,000.

Myerson had made aces with an eight-low and he faded Bagheri's myriad of outs to scoop or split.

At another table, Tara Dunn was eliminated by Daniel Geeng, who has ascended high up the counts.

Level 18

Jerri Thomas: KK6/82104 All in
Taylor Atchison: AQ5/QA73
Jeff Myers: J43/2AJJ

Taylor Atchison led out with a bet on fourth street. Jeff Myers called, and so did Jerri Thomas. Atchison fired again on fifth street, with Myers calling and Thomas going all in for just 3,000 more.

Atchison and Myers both called, and they created a side pot on sixth street when Atchison bet and Myers called.

Atchison then checked seventh street before calling a bet by Myers. Myers showed three jacks, winning the entire pot as neither of his opponents had a better high or a qualifying low.

Liam Jehu, Patricia Yannuzzi, and Pearce Arnold Bubble The $1,500 Stud Hi-Lo

Level 17

On the first hand of hand for hand, five all ins took place. Two of them resulted in chops, while the other three saw an elimination.

At one table, Liam Jehu completed to put himself all in and Taylor Atchison raised to see nobody else call.

Liam Jehu: 83/210QA/K All in
Taylor Atchison: 32/42KA/9

Atchison's pair of twos was good for the pot as Jehu peeled off his final card of a K to remain unpaired and he was eliminated from the tournament.

Table 277 saw Patricia Yannuzzi complete to put herself all in while Kane Kalas raised and Blaz Zerjav called.

Fourth street checked through to see Kalas bet on fifth and sixth street, Zerjav calling each time.

Kalas bet on seventh street and Zerjav tossed his hand away.

"Straight," said Kalas as he tabled J54 for a six-high straight. Yannuzi showed A54 for just three aces and she became the second elimination on the bubble.

Patricia Yannuzzi: XxXx/AA109/Xx All in
Kane Kalas: XxXx/J236/Xx
Blaz Zerjav: XxXx/3792/Xx

One final hand at 273 saw Pearce Arnold complete for his last bet while both Jorge Ufano raised to see only Tony Ma call.

Ufano bet on fourth street to see Ma call, while action checked down on the following streets.

Pearce Arnold: XxXx/3Q710/Xx All in
Tony Ma: XxXx/2K36/Xx
Jorge Ufano: XxXx/KJ3A/Xx

Ma turned over 62A for sixes and twos, while Ufano could only manage a pair of quickly mucked jacks. Arnold tabled J75 for a pair of sevens and he became the third bubble boy of the tournament.
