Looking down at J♠8♥, Dimitar Danchev raised to 15,000 on the button, and Florian Pesce called in the big blind with 6♥3♥.
The action checked through on the K♦3♦5♠ flop, as well as the A♥ turn.
Pesce checked for a third time on the 8♠ river, and Danchev responded with a bet of 22,000. Pesce gave it some thought with his bottom pair, but ultimately opted to fold.

By the time play concludes inside the Paris Ballroom tonight, either Seiver or Schulman could become an eight-time WSOP bracelet winner, joining Shaun Deeb, Michael Mizrachi and Benny Glaser in one of poker's most exclusive clubs.
The tournament attracted 554 entries and generated a prize pool of $735,435. With only three players remaining, each finalist has already secured $62,920, while $94,607 awaits the runner-up and $141,963 is set aside for the champion.
The returning 16 players have taken their seats, and cards are in the air.

The Round of 16 brackets are out for $25,000 Heads-Up Championship, and while Daniel Negreanu and Michael Mizrachi won't face each other in the Round of 16, the dream matchup remains very much alive.
The two GGPoker ambassadors landed on the opposite sides of the bracket on Sunday afternoon, meaning they could meet in Monday's semifinals if both can survive a gauntlet of tough opponents.
It would be one of the marquee clashes of the 2026 World Series of Poker. Negreanu is still one of poker's biggest stars and has already generated headlines this week after announcing that he and wife Amanda are expecting their first child.
Mizrachi, meanwhile, arrived in Las Vegas as the hottest name in the game following his historic 2025 WSOP Main Event victory and subsequent induction into the Poker Hall of Fame.

After both starting flights sold out, the prize pool grew to $3,008,000, with many of poker’s biggest names still in heading into Day 2. The lineup includes Daniel Negreanu, last year's Main Event and PPC champion Michael Mizrachi, Alex Foxen, Justin Saliba, Cary Katz, and Thomas Boivin.
One player looking to keep the dream alive is Nikolai Mamut, who battled back from a huge chip deficit against Doug Polk during Day 1b before going on to secure his place in the Round of 16. Elsewhere, Negreanu successfully navigated a difficult route through Day 1a that included victories over former champion Darius Samual, Brock Wilson, and Harvey Castro.
The redraw for Day 2 will take place shortly before cards get in the air at 3:30 p.m. local time, with the winners returning for the final round later in the day. Players resume with 1,200,000 chips, while blinds begin at 3,000/6,000 and increase every 20 minutes.
