Joe and Balan Drag Three-Bet Pots

Level 24

Limit Hold'em

Dean Joe raised hijack and called when Thomas Fuller three-bet as next to act. Joe check-raised Fuller's continuation-bet on the J68 flop. Fuller called, and he called again when Joe bet on the Q turn.

The 9 river was then checked to showdown, where Joe showed 88 for the winning set.

On the next deal, Michael Balan raised his button. Blaz Zerjav three-bet in the small blind, and Balan called. Zerjav continued with a bet on the 9A4 flop, seeing Balan call.

The J turn slowed down Zerjav, but he still check-called a bet by Balan. Balan fired again on the J river, this time seeing his opponent check-fold to give up on the pot.

Viktor Blom and Jason Riesenberg went to a flop of 829 where Blom bet 100,000 from the button. Riesenberg called in the big blind.

Aasen's Comeback Hits a Big Snag Against Lally

Level 23

Razz

Jaswinder Lally: XxXx/8x10x2x4x/Xx
Fu Wong: XxXx/6xJx7x3x/Xx
Rick Aasen: XxXx/9x4xAxQx/Xx

Fu Wong completed and Rick Aasen raised. Jaswinder Lally called, and Wong then reraised. Both Aasen and Lally called.

Aasen bet on fourth street and both opponents called. Lally then bet on fifth, and Wong and Aasen both called.

All three players checked on sixth and seventh, and Lally turned over AQx4x for 10-8-4-2-A.

"Ah, man. I had a draw to a nine and paired twice. Such a massive pot. That would've been the comeback," Aasen lamented as both he and Wong mucked.

"Those are the ones you have to win," tablemate Jason Riesenberg told him.
