Pisarenko Shows the "Nuts"

Level 23

Limit Hold'em

Nearly the entire Limit Hold'em round had gone by without a pot advancing past the flop before Richard Bai opened in the cutoff. Maksim Pisarenko called in the big blind.

The flop came 10A5 and Bai bet. Pisarenko called, and the J fell on the turn. Bai bet again, and Pisarenko called.

Pisarenko checked the J river, and Bai checked back this time. "Nuts," Pisarenko said as he showed KQ for a straight, and Bai mucked.

"He checked, so it's nuts," Pisarenko said.

"Even if he didn't check it's the nuts," Alex Foxen added.
