Baiza Folds the Nuts... Correctly

Level 24

98527
J8766

Matthew Baiza bet out for 110,000 first to act, and Paul Fehlig put in the call on his left. Next to act Byraun Moretz then potted for 680,000. Baiza thought quite a while before eventually laying his cards down. Fehlig made the call.

Byraun Moretz: KK76 All in
Paul Fehlig: JJ104

Moretz had flopped the nuts on top, with an overpair and king-high flush draw on bottom. Fehlig had an open ender on the top, with top set on the bottom. Baiza let the table know that he'd folded 10x9x8x for top two and the nuts, neither of which would be good by the river, as Fehlig's straight and boat scooped the pot.

The brutal runout saw Moretz' night ending early.

Reiji Kono: KK63 All in
Ali Sheikholeslami: J984

Koppel Gutshots to Double

Level 24

64410J
7AJ8Q

Action checked around to cutoff Julio Trimmer. He bet out for 200,000, then called Jared Koppel's check-shove of 690,000.

Jared Koppel: 10974 All in
Julio Trimmer: AA73

Either player could have feasibly scooped, until Koppel binked two perfect turns. He boated up on the top board and binked his gutshot on the bottom, needing to fade very few cards to chop, and even fewer to get scooped. He held on the rivers, and secured a full double.
