Poker Players Can Rate Dealers at 2026 WSOP; Do You Like It?

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
WSOP
WSOP

There will be incentives for dealers to perform well at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP), one being financial.

The other incentive is not facing scrutiny, as the WSOP has implemented a dealer rating system that will permit poker players to grade dealers this summer.

A change has been made for the 2026 series at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, as players can rate dealers through the WSOP LIVE app, the same app they use to receive seating assignments and register for tournaments.

Haskell Wins Five-Way Frenzy; Hallaert Gone

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Kenny Hallaert
Kenny Hallaert

Evan Haskell moved all in for 4,000 under the gun, before, as he put it, "a feeding frenzy ensued." Multiple calls and raises had Kenny Hallaert and Brian Phillis all-in preflop, with Bradley Butcher and Sander Verhulst contesting a big sidepot. Butcher folded out Verhulst with a flop shove.

Evan Haskell: A993 All in
Brian Phillis: QJJ4 All in
Kenny Hallaert: AKJ9 All in
Bradley Butcher: 10554

The board completed 5A876, leaving Haskell with a flush. Inexplicably, he increased his stack twelvefold to 48,000. Butcher's set of fives won the rest of the pot, and he took two bounties for busting Phillis and Hallaert.

Pregler Doubles With Flush

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Sascha Pregler moved all in on the button against Robert Emmerson in the small blind.

Sascha Pregler: AAQJAll in
Robert Emmerson: K9J8

Pregler's advantage was one thing, what with his aces, but the monochrome flop in a runout of 9J542 was much to his liking as he flopped the nut flush and it held for a double-up.

Lots of Spades for Carreras Moragrega

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Dennis Schettler three-bet the pot to 240,000 from the cutoff. Bernat Carreras Moragrega, the original raiser from the hijack, moved all in for 316,000 and got called.

Dennis Schettler: AA74All in
Bernat Carreras Moragrega: AAJ5

The aces-on-aces preflop matchup meant little in a spades-filled runout of 108273 that gave Carreras Moragrega the double-up with the ace-high flush

Liu Collects Two More Bounties

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Yuhong Liu
Yuhong Liu

David Urban raised to 15,000 from early position. Silma Macalou, seated to his immediate left, three-bet to 70,000. Yuhong Liu and Gustavo Zorilla called from the cutoff and button, respectively.

Urban responded to the raise with an all-in shove for his 75,000-chip stack. Macalou put all of his in for just 4,000 chips more. Again, bounty hunters Liu and Zorilla called.

Liu and Zorilla checked down the flop and turn 5Q96, but Liu bet 20,000 when the Q paired the board on the river. Zorilla folded.

David Urban: KxKx4x2xAll in
Silma Macalou: AAQ2All in
Yuhong Liu: 6653

Liu had the worst pocket pair of the three, but the good fortune of hitting one of the two other sixes on the turn. He claimed the bounties with a full house.
