Josef Schusteritsch opened from middle position before Erik Seidel moved all in for 645,000 from the hijack. Michael Macchia then reshoved from the button, covering both players, and Schusteritsch got out of the way.

"That's what I figured," Macchia said as the cards were revealed.

The board ran out 6♥7♣5♣3♥5♥, giving Seidel a flush on the river to take the pot. For a brief moment, Macchia thought his pocket queens had held, but another player pointed out that Seidel had completed the flush.

"Oh, I didn't even see that," Macchia said before paying off Seidel's winning hand.
