Fuchs On The Comeback Trail

Level 14 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Tom Fuchs
Tom Fuchs

Heads up to the flop of 764 with 120,000 in the pot.

Tom Fuchs ,who had earlier been left with just half a big blind, bet out for 65,000 from middle position. Pavel Plesuv sat in the big blind raised all in and had Fuchs covered, who snap-called.

Tom Fuchs: JJ All in
Pavel Plesuv: Q8

No miracles for Plesuv on the K turn and even though the 8 river gave him a pair it was not enough and Fuchs was shipped the pot for a double-up to complete a pretty remarkable comeback from 10,000 to now over 800,000!

Chidwick Takes it Down

Level 14 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

With around 300,000 already in the pot and the flop showing 758, Stephen Chidwick check-called the 80,000 bet from Kristen Foxen.

The 7 turn saw both players check through.

On the 9 river, Chidwick took his time before putting in 295,000, leaving himself just with 5,000 behind. Foxen burned through one time bank card before making the fold. Chidwick commented, "Imagine we had the same hand," and Foxen agreed, saying she had the same thought.

Hecklen Sent Packing

Level 14 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

After being left short-stacked, Henrik Hecklen moved all in from under the gun for 50,000. Dietrich Fast, in middle position, made the call, as did Jeremy Ausmus in the big blind.

On the AQA flop, Ausmus checked to Fast, who bet out for 100,000. Ausmus folded quickly.

Henrik Hecklen: K2 All in
Dietrich Fast: A9

Even with the turn 2 and river 2 giving Hecklen deuces-full, it wasn't enough to beat Fast's better full house, aces-full, and Hecklen was sent to the rail.

The 7 turn saw Dwan size up to 110,000, with Negreanu again sticking around.

After the 6 completed the board, Dwan moved all in for around 375,000. Negreanu didn't need long to think before quickly folding, sending the pot to Dwan.

Level 13 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Michael Macchia

Biao Ding made it 40,000 to play from early position and was looked up by Michael Macchia on the button.

The flop came 836, and Ding checked to Macchia, who fired out for 50,000. Ding made the call.

The action went check, check on the 7 turn for the 2 to peel off on the river. Ding led out for 175,000, and Macchia tanked for a short while before he raised to 400,000.

Ding went into the tank briefly before he made the call but mucked his cards quickly on seeing Macchia table AJ for the nut flush.

Zamani Triples, Sidhu Survives

Level 13 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Martin Zamani moved all in for 220,000 from under the gun, and Dominykas Mikolaitis called from early position. Action then folded to Kully Sidhu in the big blind, who reshoved for around 355,000. Mikolaitis called again, covering both, creating a three-way all-in.

Martin Zamani: K10All in
Kully Sidhu: AKAll in
Dominykas Mikolaitis: AJ

The board ran out 945210, giving Zamani a pair of tens to earn a triple-up. Sidhu's ace-king also held against Mikolaitis' ace-jack, allowing him to stay in the tournament as well.
