Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Ben Yu
Ben Yu

Hold'em

Action folded around and Ben Yu raised from the small blind. Alex Livingston called from the big.

The flop came {J-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Yu bet. Livingston raised and Yu called all in for the rest of his stack.

Yu: {K-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Livingston: {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

The board completed with the {A-Clubs} and {3-Hearts} and Yu was eliminated from the tournament by Livingston's pair of nines.

Klodnicki Chopped Down to a Nub

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

There was already 50,000 in the main pot when we got to Chris Klodnicki's table, and Mike Puskarich was all in on sixth street against Klodnicki and Mikhail Tulchinskiy.

Puskarich: {x-}{x-}/{7-Hearts}{3-Spades}{6-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
Klodnicki: {x-}{x-}/{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Tulchinskiy: {x-}{x-}/{3-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Klodnicki put his remaining couple of thousand in, and Tulchinskiy called. Klodnicki showed {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades} for kings and no low possibility. Tulchinskiy had {5-Spades}{4-Diamonds} for a straight and a seven-five low draw. Puskarich had {8-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for a made eight-low with a pair and a flush draw.

Each player was dealt their final card, and Klodnicki showed a useless {4-Clubs}. Tulchinskiy got a {2-Clubs} to make his low, and Puskarich a {7-Clubs} for sevens up to take the high half of the main pot.

Koral Survives, Chops with Groth

Level 12 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Tyler Groth bet fifth street with three to a six-low against Tom Koral who had high cards and clubs, and Per Hildebrand, who had a pair of jacks. Both players called, and action went nuts on sixth street.

Groth: {x-}{x-}/{6-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Koral: {x-}{x-}/{a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Hildebrand: {x-}{x-}/{3-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs}

Koral bet this time, and Hildebrand called. Groth raised, Koral reraised, Hildebrand called, and Groth and Koral got it capped, with Hildebrand coming along. Koral put in his last 1,000 on the end, and Hildebrand called but then tank-folded to a raise from Groth.

Groth showed {5-}{2-}{3-} for a wheel and a seven-high straight, but Koral had him beat for the high half with {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}.

Razz

Tehan: {x-}{x-} / {5-}{5-}{2-}{3-} / {x-}
Brubaker: {x-}{x-} / {4-}{9-}{3-}{A-} / {x-}

We caught up to the action on fifth where Tehan and Brubaker already had 8,000 worth of bets in front of each of them, with even more in the middle of the table. Brubaker bet and Tehan called.

"I'm wondering if there is any way we can get to a cheap showdown," Tehan said. The dealer then dealt sixth street, which gave Tehan a three and Brubaker an ace. "I guess not. That last one paired me."

Brubaker then moved all in and Tehan called. Tehan showed {4-}{3-}, but Brubaker already had a made low with {A-}{6-}.

On the last draw, Tehan paired another of his cards with a {2-}. Brubaker drew an {A-} but it didn't matter because he had already secured the double-up.

Friedman Eliminated

Level 12 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Adam Friedman
Adam Friedman

Hold'em

Adam Friedman was already all in from the cutoff with {9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Clubs} on the board when we got to his table. Christopher Sensoli (middle position) and Dmitry Chop (button) were going to war in a side pot, and Sensoli check-called another bet on the {7-Spades} river. Chop rolled over {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for top two, but Sensoli's {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} was good for a set. Friedman flipped over {a-}{k-} and took his leave.

Scotty Nguyen
Scotty Nguyen

Omaha Hi-Lo

Scotty Nguyen bet on the end from the blinds with a board of {4-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs} between he and Todd Bui. Bui made the call.

"Big hand, baby," Nguyen said, flipping over {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for the nut low and a flush.

Bui said he had the second-nut low and a straight.
