Phil Hellmuth

Phil Hellmuth has had a good start to his flight of THE COLOSSUS, chipping up to 18,000 following the elimination of one player.

"In how many years do you become a senior?" asked tablemate Peter Kamaras. Hellmuth removed his headphones and Kamaras repeated his question.

"Negative three," came the reply from 53-year-old.

We didn't quite catch the comment Kamaras made about his tablemate's youthful demeanour, but Hellmuth shot back "Happens when you act like a child!"

Chris Ferguson

It folded to Chris Ferguson in middle position who moved all in for 5,350. The hijack asked for a count before moving all in himself for 5,975. The player in the cutoff took slightly less time sliding his chips into the middle to call, putting both players at risk.

The remaining players all folded and the cards were turned over:

Chris Ferguson: {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Hijack: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Cutoff: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

Ferguson chuckled at his opponents' cards as the flop came {k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{10-Spades} giving Ferguson top pair. The turn was the {4-Hearts} and the rvier the {7-Clubs} and Ferguson tripled up.
