A Harsh End for Shori

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Harsh Shori three-bet all in out of the small blind and initial raiser Wolfgang Hösl called to set up the following showdown:

Wolfgang Hösl: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}
Harsh Shori: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}

The {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{J-Spades} flop left Hösl with the four remaining tens in the deck as outs and sure enough the {10-Clubs} appeared right away on the turn. A blank {8-Diamonds} river changed nothing and Shori was eliminated. On the same table, Pascal Pflock had gotten somewhat lucky a few minutes ago to chip up as well.

Yankov Busts to Brunner

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Krasimir Yankov
Krasimir Yankov

In a raising war, Krasimir Yankov and Marcel Brunner had already invested more than half of his stack and table neighbor Brunner eventually called the shove of Yankov for 100,000 more. Once the cards were shown, Yankov wasn't too happy about it and in need of help.

Krasimir Yankov: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Marcel Brunner: {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

The board came {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} and Yankov's tournament came to an end. Also out: Roland Israelashvili, amongst others, while fewer than 180 players remain.

Scheiermann Busts to Misailidis

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Konstantinos Misailidis
Konstantinos Misailidis

While Georgios Vrakas was eliminated, another Greek is running extremely well in Konstantinos Misailidis. He raised to 17,500 and Alexander Scheiermann moved all in for around 75,000, which resulted in a snap-call by Misailidis.

Alexander Scheiermann: {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Konstantinos Misailidis: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

The board of {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{6-Hearts} failed to improve Scheiermann and he was eliminated in 197th place. The table broke right after, and while most other players only needed one or two racks, Misailidis needed five of them.

Böhringer Busts Marwaha

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

There is a consistent line near the payout desk with players from THE COLOSSUS awaiting their payment, as the field has already been reduced to the last 202 hopefuls.

Among those to run out of chips was also Rahul Marwaha despite getting it in ahead with the {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}. Torsten Böhringer only had the {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} but got there on a board of {Q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades}.

Magalashvili Chips Back Up

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Daniel Heredi opened to 14,000 from middle position and Michael Magalashvili three-bet to 33,000 from the cutoff. Heredi called and the flop came {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}.

Heredi checked to Magalashvili who bet 26,000 and Heredi stuck around to see the {5-Spades} on the turn. Heredi checked again and Magalashvili moved all-in. Heredi only had around 55,000 remaining but elected to fold, sending the pot to Magalashvili who lost a sizeable pot to begin the day.

Fullarton Runs Into Aces

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

The stack of Emma Fullarton was sent over to the other side of the table with her {K-Hearts}{K-Spades} still tabled, and it was Jakub Fujerik that had ended her hopes in a clash of pocket pairs. Fujerik held {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts} and the board of {Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} brought no surprise to eliminate Fullarton.

Miadzel Busts Badal

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

On the flop of {8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, Achour Badal and Stanislaw Miadzel clashed and the former was the player at risk for some 120,000, turning over {J-Diamonds}{6-Spades}. Miadzel looked him up with the {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and the {10-Clubs} turn and {10-Hearts} river were both blanks.
