Viard Doubles with a Good Read

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Alexandre Viard was in a pot against Daniel Haywood, in which Haywood bet 3,000 in a {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop and Viard called.

The turn was the {9-Spades} and Haywood bet 5,000 this time with Viard calling again.

The {5-Diamonds} competed the board on the river and Haywood shoved, covering Viard by only 3,000 chips. Viard didn't think about it for long before calling, to show {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} with a set in a board with three hearts. His read was good since Haywood opened {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades} with the blocker and Viard doubled up.

Haywood was left very short and busted on the next hand.

Dosikov Wins Two in a Row from Boyaciyan

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Ilyaz Dosikov won two consecutive pots against Danyel Boyaciyan, taking a big part of his stack.

In the first hand, Dosikov bet 20,000 in a {j-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} board with 24,000 into the pot and Boyaciyan made the call. The {q-Clubs} came on the river and Dosikov made 15,000, which Boyaciyan called again and mucked when he saw Dosikov open {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a straight.

On the next hand, Dosikov three-bet to 10,000 from the button after Boyaciyan opened to 2,500 from middle position. Boyaciyan called and the flop came {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} with Dosikov betting 25,000 after Boyaciyan's check, who folded quickly.
