In three-way action to the K♥Q♠5♥ flop, Jeremy Trojand was all-in for 89,500 and Tomasz Kozub called while Harald Casagrande folded.

Kozub was behind but had a lot of equity, which came right away on the A♣ turn. The river was the 9♦ and Trojand departed for the time being.
Ermanno Di Nicola limped under the gun, and Bouwe Claushuis and Zdenek Zizka followed suit on the button and in the small blind respectively, before Jose Scarano knuckled his option in the big blind.
The A♦4♦3♣ flop was checked to the 4♣ turn, where Zizka led out with a bet of 12,000. Both Di Nicola and Claushuis called.
The K♠ river completed the board, and Zizek checked to Di Nicola. He fired out a bet of 45,000, and that led to quick folds from both of his opponents.
With some 35,000 in the middle to the A♥J♥4♥3♦3♠ river, Tomasz Kozub in the big blind bet 20,000. Vakhtang Javakhishvili then pushed all-in for 103,000 from under the gun and Kozub tank-called.
Javakhishvili tabled his A♠J♠7♣7♠ and it was no good against the A♣3♥2♥2♦ of Kozub.
Bernd Gleissner raised to 10,000 and was called by Thomas Eychenne on the button, Martin Kabrhel also called in the big blind.
The trio checked down the J♦10♣6♦K♦7♣ board and Kabrhel first flashed the Q♥10♠ for a pair of tens, prompting Gleissner to show his 9♣7♠6♣4♠. During that blink of a second, Kabrhel also revealed his K♠3♥ for kings and tens, which won the pot.
Jan-Peter Jachtmann pointed out that Kabrhel has been doing these "wrong showdowns" and that "you will get used to it".
Javier Francort was all-in for 87,000 and at risk versus Shaun Deeb.

It was a fair fight, and Francort hit the front after the K♦J♥8♥ flop gave him top pair.
The 4♠ turn improved him to two pair, and Deeb could not find an out on the 6♠ river.
In a preflop contest, Nino Pansier and Leszek Badurowicz both invested 57,000 as they headed to the K♦J♣3♦ flop. Pansier bet the pot right away out of the blinds and Badurowicz folded to drop below the average once again. Pansier and Harald Casagrande are the only two players at this table above the average.
Martin Kabrhel raised the button and the stacks then went in by Samuel Albeck in the small blind as well as Ren Lin in the big blind with the latter as shortest stack for 67,000.

The 8♥7♥3♠8♠10♦ board brought the triple up for Lin while Albeck doubled through Kabrhel in the side pot for 144,500.
Nikolaos Lampropoulos opened to 14,000 from early position, and received calls from Shaun Deeb in the hijack, and Patrik Jaros in the small blind, before Zdenek Zizka three-bet jammed to 46,000 from the big blind.
Lampropoulos four-bet to 138,000, forcing out Deeb and Jaros.

Lampropoulos was ahead, but Zizka hit the front after the Q♣9♦3♦ flop gave him top pair and the nut flush draw.
The 2♣ turn was a brick, but the K♣ hit on the river in cruel fashion to send Lampropoulos the pot with a pair of kings.
There was carnage over on table 40 when Dario Alioto committed his 100,000 stack shortly after entering the tournament again and he was joined in the festivities by Javier Francort. Krasimir Yankov looked up both of them with the marginally covering stack while Bouwe Claushuis also called with the far larger stack and enthusiastically exclaimed "dealer, please choose me".
On the 10♦8♣3♠ flop, the last 14,500 of Yankov also went into the middle as well and all four players tabled their cards.

The 5♣ turn gave Yankov the lead with two pair, which he improved to a better two pair on the 6♣ river, to knock out Alioto and Francort, while doubling in the small side pot against Claushuis.
Alioto and Francort both re-entered subsequently.
