Farienfar Doubles Through Braun

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Puyan Farienfar raised the pot and then got it in from the cutoff against Michael Braun in the next seat for his last 69,000.

Puyan Farienfar: KKQ6 All in
Michael Braun: AKQ8

The AJ10 flop gave both players broadway while Farienfar had the superior flush draw. That draw came with the 9 turn to leave Braun with a single out to a straight flush. No miracle followed with the Q river for Farienfar to double once more.

Nguyen Hits the River to Crack Meister's Aces

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Alfredo Vega Meister got his last 30,000 into the middle preflop with Hoa Nguyen trying to bust him.

Alfredo Vega Meister: AA102 All in
Hoa Nguyen: KK55

Meister was in great shape with aces against the kings of Nguyen. The 3Q8 flop kept Meister firmly in the lead, having the higher flush draw. A 8 rolled off on the turn and Meister was one card away from doubling up. A brutal 5 fell on the river to give Nguyen a full house, and all of Meister's chips headed over to him.

Sturz Flushes Casagrande

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Harry Casagrande raised in the cutoff and was called only by Markus Sturz on the button while the blinds folded. On the 1063 flop, both checked before Casagrande bet the 3 turn for 17,000, Sturz called.

They checked the K on the river and Casagrande declared aces, showing his AA. "Flush," Sturz replied and Casagrande shook his head instantly. Sturz first showed QJ and then added "but it was a nice hand" before also exposing the 98.

"On the flop I fold, I had nothing. But I was thinking about potting the river," Sturz added while collecting the pot.

Stranak's Queens Earn Him a Double-Up

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

With roughly 80,000 in the pot already on a flop of 4103, Samuel Stranak jammed for his stack of 44,000. Ryan Fronda, who was seated in the cutoff, thought for a while before making the call for the majority of his stack.

Stranka had the higher pocket pair and needed to dodge an unfortunate runout to double up. The 8 turn gave Fronda a flush draw, although he missed all his outs on the 6 river.
