Winkler Sticking Around

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Dimitrios Gkatzas raised to 25,000 and Andre Winkler three-bet the pot to 90,000 with 77,000 behind. It folded back to the Greek who went into the tank.

"Maybe we have the same hand," Winkler said. Once Gkatzas folded, he flashed the Kx8x8x.

Winkler then opened to 25,000 and Konstantin Razinkov called. On a flop of 988, Razinkov bet 20,000 and Winkler snap-folded.

Francort Rivers a Miracle to Bust Lopes and Loeser

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Javier Francort
Javier Francort

Javier Francort limped from middle position before Lucas Lopes raised to 25,000 from the cutoff. Manig Loeser three-bet out of the small blind to 110,000, which Francort called. Lopes four-bet jammed for 290,000, prompting Loeser to shove himself for around 410,000. Francort, with slightly more chips than Loeser, called with the chance to bust two players.

Lucas Lopes: KK99 All in
Manig Loeser: AA53 All in
Javier Francort: AJ107

Loeser held aces, Lopes had kings, and Francort had four cards. The JQQ flop was great for Loeser as he picked up a flush draw to go with his aces. The 6 turn was safe for Loeser but the J dropped on the river to give Francort the best hand with trip jacks.

Lopes and Loeser headed to the rail, while Francort shouted, "I am still the best PLO player!" and dragged in the pot over over a million.

Double Knockout Vaults Kokoulin to a Big Stack

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The floor was called because Volodymyr Kokoulin replied to a question while the action was not repeated yet with him having repotted over the top of an all-in by Florin Bilan. Tobias Peters was in the hand still and opted to fold while Jurgen Paulitsch then also called all-in as well.

Jurgen Paulitsch: QJ1010 All in
Florin Bilan: QQ82 All in
Volodymyr Kokoulin: AA33

Kokoulin hit not one but two sets on the 9523A runout to send two opponents to the rail.

Loeser Gets a Shove Through

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Lucas Lopes raised and called a three-bet to 90,000 by Manig Loeser to then check the J32 flop. Loeser pushed all-in for 163,000 and Lopes folded.

Sharon Ben David then increased the pressure on Andreas Froehli with a preflop four-bet to force out the Austrian. Soon after, both would clash again with Ben David claiming the remaining stack.

Francort With Three Aces

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Lucas Lopes made it 20,000 from early position and faced a three-bet to 80,000 from Javier Francort in the big blind. Lopes continued with a call.

Both players checked down a runout of 9K10107 and Francort won the pot with AAA2 for a pair of aces.

Casagrande Doubles With a Nice Flop

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The cards of Konstantin Razinkov were just mucked when he paid off a full double to Harald Casagrande. Razinkov's Jx9x9x8x had flopped a set on the Q9322 board but they were no good against Casagrande's QQ64.

"It was a nice flop," the Austrian grinned when asked upon by another player.

Renji Mao: KJ64
