The announcement puts an end to weeks of speculation following the release of the 2026 WSOP schedule, which hinted at a major shake-up to the tournament structure.

Can Kade Get Aces to Fold with River Jam?

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Vanessa Kade
Vanessa Kade

Vanessa Kade opened to 12,000 from the cutoff and called when Fausto Tantillo made it 35,000 from the button.

Kade check-called bets of 27,000 and 125,000 on the flop and turn for the board to read 7QJ4Q.

Kade then jammed for just under 300,000, sending Tantillo into the tank. The Italian covered Kade, and mulled over his options for more than a minute, passing the dealer to time banks as the camera crew rushed to the table.

Eventually, Tantillo made up his mind, putting a stack of yellow T-5,000 chips into the middle.

Kade was caught bluffing, as her 109 missed failed to make it's straight or flush draw. Tantillo turned over AA for aces and queens to take the pot, and score the bust out.

"You just missed it," Manig Loeser told PokerNews while Thomas Eychenne to his left was dragging a massive a pot.

The Frenchman was kind enough to explain that Panagiotis Christou opened from early position and that he three-bet to 42,000 from the cutoff. Christou four-bet to 112,000 and Eychenne five-bet to 182,000. Christou then moved all-in for approximately 440,000 and Eychenne called.

Panagiotis Christou: AAx

After a flop of 8x6x5x with two diamonds, the 3 turn gave both players a flush draw. Eychenne was only looking for a king and found one on the Kx river to eliminate Christou and become one of the chip leaders.
