Another Double for Soderstrom

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Robert Fallan raised to 45,000 from middle position and Matt Yorra called from the button. Tomas Soderstrom then three-bet to 185,000 from the small blind, Fallan jammed, and Yorra folded. Soderstrom called off for 745,000 total and the hands were turned up.

Tomas Soderstrom: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Robert Fallan: {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}

The board ran out {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{4-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and Soderstrom's flopped straight scored him the double while leaving Fallan with 250K. Fortunately for the latter, he doulbed the very next hand winning a flip with pocket threes against Ron West's ace-seven suited.

Soderstom Doubles Through Yorra

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Tomas Soderstrom
Tomas Soderstrom

We caught the action on a flop of {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} in a headsup pot with both players all in.

Tomas Soderstrom: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Matthew Yorra; {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}

Soderstrom had flopped top two pair, but Yorra with the dominating chipstack had flopped Braodway. The {2-Spades} turn was no help to Soderstrom, but {a-Diamonds} river was one of the cards he needed.

Yorra Gets Paid

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Action picked up on a board of {2-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} in a headsup pot.

Robert Fallan checked over to Matthew Yorra who slid out a bet of 250,000, which sent Fallan deep into the tank. After about two minutes he counted out the chips, moved them forward just a bit and then went into the tank some more before he finally made the call. He quickly sent his cards to the muck after Yorra tabled {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}.

Ryan Leng Eliminated in 28th Place ($17,290)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Ryan Leng

Australia's Kahle Burns raised to 45,000 under the gun and was met by a three-bet jam to 190,000 from Ryan Leng on the button. Both blinds folded and Burns called.

Kahle Burns: {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Ryan Leng: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}

It was a race and the {k-Spades}{10-Spades}{6-Spades} flop made things interesting by giving Burns a set and Leng both straight and flush draws. Unfortunately for the latter, those draws were rendered moot when the {k-Hearts} appeared on the turn to improve Burns to a full house.

The meaningless {2-Clubs} was run out on the river and Leng headed for the payout desk while a table broke with 27 players remaining.

Shorr and Bonomo Do a Little Dance

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

We caught the action on the turn in a headsup pot on a board reading {8-Spades}{5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{q-Hearts}. Justin Bonomo checked over to Shannon Shorr who bet 200,000, which got a call from Bonomo. After Bonomo again checked on the {k-Clubs} river Shorr moved all in for his last 485,000, which was enough to get a fold from Bonomo and send the pot to Shorr.

Salter Scoops a Nice Pot

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Ankusk Mandavia raised to 45,000 from early position and was called by Peter Nigh on the button. Louis Salter three-bet to 205,000, which got a fold from Mandavia and, after a few moments, a call from Nigh.

After Salter checked the {7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop Nigh bet 170,000 and Salter made the call. Both players then checked the {a-Hearts} turn and Salter led out for 175,000 on the {q-Hearts} river, which got a fold from Nigh.

Kuether Evens Up with Farrell

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Joe Kuether opened for 45,000 under the gun and called when chip leader Ben Farrell three-bet to 125,000 from the button. Kuether then check-called a bet of 100,000 on the {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop before check-calling one of 300,000 on the {2-Clubs} turn.

When the {8-Clubs} river put four clubs on board, Kuether checked and Farrell bet 350,000. Kuether called with the {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for the turned straight and it was good as Farrell sheepishly showed the {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}.

Ryan Yu Eliminated in 29th Place ($17,290)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Ryan Yu
Ryan Yu

Ryan Yu got his last 330,000 all in preflop and found himself in dire straits against Matt Yorra.

Matt Yorra: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Ryan Yu: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Yu had the inferior ace and he failed to get lucky as the board ran out a dry {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}.

Daniel Strelitz Eliminated in 30th Place ($17,290)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Daniel Strelitz
Daniel Strelitz

Daniel Strelitz raised to 40,000 from the button and Justin Bonomo and Ryan Lenaghan called from the small and big blinds respectively.

On the {j-Spades}{4-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop, Bonomo led for 40,000 and both his opponents called to see the {2-Spades} turn.

Two checks saw Strelitz bet 150,000 and only Bonomo called to see the {6-Hearts} river.

Bonomo checked, Strelitz jammed for around 500K, and Bonomo called with the {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a pair of eights. It was good as Strelitz showed the {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs} before heading to the payout desk.
