Erick Lindgren Among Players Advancing to Day 2 in $1,600 PLO
The $1,600 Pot-Limit Omaha event, a $1,000,000 guaranteed tournament, kicked off this past weekend with 1,494 entries. Only 186 of them will return to the felt at Wynn Las Vegas at 1 p.m. on Tuesday for Day 2.
One of those players is poker boom era superstar Erick Lindgren. "E-Dog" bagged 694,000 chips, which puts him just outside the top 10. The chip leader is Felipe Campins, who finished Day 1 with 1,545,000.
Campins has a small advantage over the competition heading to Day 2. Daniel Geeng is in second place with 1,507,000 chips, barely off the chip lead. There's a sizeable dropoff after the top two, with Feng Yu in third place at 1,046,000.
