Level 15 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Ludovic Geilich
Ludovic Geilich

Ludovic Geilich was all in for 33,000 from early position and up against Paul Ephremsen under the gun.

Ludovic Geilich: AA
Paul Ephremsen: KQ

Geilich was poised for a double up with his aces as the 31010 flop completely missed Ephremsen. He was already drawing dead by the 7 turn, and Geilich secured the double on the 6 river.

Not so fortunate were the likes of Keith Littlewood, Tom Middleton, and Dean Hutchison, who were recently eliminated.

Eardley Bets Big Against Jones; Otto Doubles Michael

Level 15 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

A pot of around 100,000 was already in the middle as Nathan Jones and Matthew Eardley went to the river on a board of 7J5K3. Eardley, on the button, then bet another 100,000.

Jones burned through multiple time banks before he mucked, surrendering the big pot. Tablemate Aaron Barone then arrived with 888poker bags for the table.

"At this point it's not just a bribe. It's more of a gift," Barone joked. The table didn't seem to appreciate the gift, though, as Barone was eliminated shortly afterward.

At the same time at another table, Ryan Otto bet 35,000 from early position on a board of 7Q3JK and Michalis Michael then moved all in for 104,000 in the hijack.

It was Otto's turn to use some time banks, tossing in three of them before calling with KQ. Michael, though, had JJ for a set to double up in the massive pot.

The river came the 10 and Navarro checked over to Gavrilescu, who bet 16,000. As 888poker cameras began to surround the table, Navarro then moved all in for 66,500.

Gavrilescu used up two time bank cards before he called. Navarro then showed 44 for a full house and Gavrilescu flashed Q7 before mucking.

Duta Has a Short Day

Level 15 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Florian Duta was one of the players who reentered at the start of the day, and on his first hand he moved all in for his starting stack of 30,000 and Daniel Laidlaw called.

Florian Duta: A10
Daniel Laidlaw: AJ

The J8Q flop had something for both players as Laidlaw paired his jack, but Duta picked up straight and flush draws. The turn was the 3, while Duta whiffed the 10 river and was quickly sent to the rail.
