Blinds: 2,500/5,000
Ante: 5,000
The remaining 95 players are now on a 20-minute break.
There have been 70 eliminations so far through the first two levels as the field draws closer to the money.
Joe Newby raised to 8,000 on the button, then called when Niall Farrell moved all in for 90,000 in the big blind.
Niall Farrell: 5♠5♦
Joe Newby: 10♣10♥
The flop came 3♠A♠K♦ and Farrell began asking the dealer for another spade, but none came on the Q♣8♥ runout and Farrell was eliminated.
At the same time at another table, Nim Rattan was all in for 120,000 in early position, Jones was all in for 117,000 in the hijack, and Matthew Eardley had them both covered and at risk.
Nathan Jones: Q♦Q♥
Nim Rattan: J♦J♣
Matthew Eardley: A♦K♠
Eardley spiked his ace on the 5♠A♣2♥ board and was poised for a double knockout as the 3♦ fell on the turn. The river, though, was the Q♣ and Jones hit his set to virtually triple up, while Rattan was eliminated.
Bhavin Khatri bet 8,000 from middle position on a flop of 9♣9♥8♣ and William McMurray called on the button. Hong Pham then raised to 26,000 in the big blind, Khatri reraised to 52,000, and McMurray folded.
Pham called to see the 6♦ turn where both players checked. The river came the J♥ and Pham moved all in for 150,000.
Khatri snap-folded and Pham took the big pot without a showdown.
Dawid Chmiel, Michalis Michael, and Adam Hart went to the turn on a board of 9♦Q♥5♣7♣ when Chmiel bet 30,000 from the cutoff.
Michael called on the button, then Hart moved all in for 50,000 in the big blind. Chmiel reshoved for 94,000 and Michael snap-called.
Michael showed A♣Q♣ for top pair, Hart had a dominated Q♠J♠, but Chmiel had them both beat with K♦K♠. The river came the 8♦ and Chmiel knocked out Hart and doubled up off Michael
Timothy Wright moved all in for around 40,000 from the hijack and Paul Vas Nunes had him at risk under the gun.
Timothy Wright: 4♥4♦
Paul Vas Nunes: 8♠8♣
Wright was already standing up from his seat after Vas Nunes turned over his higher pocket pair. The 6♦J♥9♥A♦5♥ board didn't provide any relief and Wright joined the long list of bustouts so far today.
Vivian Saliba also busted shortly before, leaving Lucia Navarro as the last 888poker team member remaining in the tournament.
Action folded to Gary Fisher who moved all in for 75,000 in the cutoff. Scott Reynolds in the small blind reshoved and the rest of the table got out of the way.
Gary Fisher: A♥9♣
Scott Reynolds: 6♥6♣
Fisher couldn't connect with anything on the 10♠10♥3♥J♣3♦ board and Reynolds ended up with two pair to send him to the rail.
888poker Ambassador Ian Simpson was also eliminated at the same time on another table, as were Aleksandrs Golubevs and Vineet Mohan as players continue to fall rapidly on Day 2.
Sheng Zheng, who began the day in the top 10 on the leaderboard, was down to around 110,000 when he moved all in from under the gun and Ka Wai Man had him at risk in early position.
Sheng Zheng: A♦J♠
Ka Wai Man: 8♠8♦
Zheng was racing for his tournament life against Man's pair, but today just happens to be Man's day and he spiked the 8♣ right away to make a set, followed by the 7♠Q♣. The rest of the board came 3♥5♥ and Man picked up another pot and sent Zheng to the rail.
"Lucky day, mate," a tablemate told Man, who moved up around 700,000 after starting with less than 200,000.
Jamie Walden, Brandon Sheils, Lee French, and Robert Bickley were also recently eliminated.
Teodor Evstratiev raised to 8,000 in early position before Siddharth Sudunagunta moved all in for 55,000 in the hijack. Patrick Donohue then reshoved for 110,000 in the cutoff and Evstratiev got out of the way.
Siddharth Sudunagunta: A♥Q♣
Patrick Donohue: A♦K♦
Both players connected with their ace on the A♠8♠J♦ flop, while the 10♠ turn gave Sudunagunta a straight draw. The river was the 10♦ and Sudunagunta couldn't overcome Donohue's king-kicker and was sent to the rail.
