Thorel Folds Getting 8-1

On the turn of a {3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} board, Alex Bilokur had fired a bet of 24,000 before Jean Noel Thorel made it 55,000 to play. Bilokur tanked, then moved all in for 75,600.

With 160,000 in the pot, Thorel needed to just put 20,600 more into the middle but after two minutes of thinking, he opted to fold instead.

Two More Down

We've lost former EPT champion Andrey Pateychuk and high stakes PLO specialist Rui Cao in the last couple of minutes. Pateychuk in particular had been mostly grinding a short stack patiently all day and it appears his luck has just run out.

Alvarado Busts Pateychuk

Andrey Pateychuk was all in preflop with pocket sevens versus the {A-}{K-} for JC Alvarado. The board ran out with an ace on the turn to give Alvarado the win and send Pateychuk out the door.

Bailed Bond-ar

Andrey Bondar has been eliminated, after a {9-}{5-}{4-} flop was checked around between himself, Scott Seiver and Grzegorz Derkowski, the Russian moved all in on the {10-} turn. Seiver folded but Derkowski made the call with {J-}{10-} and Bondar could only show {7-}{3-}. No six on the river and we're down to four tables.

Chip Counts

Seiver Hits 300K

David Martirosyan checked the {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop and Scott Seiver bets 5,100. Martirosyan check-raised to 15,600 and Seiver called.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} and Martirosyan bet 22,200, which Seiver called. Then, the river completed the board with the {K-Diamonds}. Martirosyan checked and Seiver fired 67,000. Martirosyan gave it up and Seiver took the pot. He's now up to 300,000 in chips.

Pay the Bil

Team PokerStars Pro Angel Guillen opened to 4,800, Alex Bilokur made it 12,200 a few seats down before Timothy Adam cold four-bet to 26,100.

Guillen dwelt up and then folded, Bilokur and Adam proceeded to put the rest of their money in.

Bilokur: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}
Adam: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}

The board came {4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} and the Russian doubled up.

Squeeze from Martirosyan

Alexander Roumeliotis raised to 5,400 from under the fun and Carlos Mora called in the cutoff seat. After Scott Seiver made the call on the button, action moved over to David Martirosyan in the big blind. He reraised to 18,900. Everyone folded and Martirosyan took the pot with a smirk.

Rauted

Alexander Roumeliotis raised to 5,400 from the cutoff, Andrey Bondar flat-called on the button before Dorin Rauta moved all in for 25,500 in the small blind.

Roumeliotis folded but Bondar sighed and after a couple of minutes made the call.

Bondar: {A-Spades}{3-Spades}
Rauta: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

The board came {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{A-Clubs} - a rivered ace sending Rauta to the rail.
