Anticlimax Between Haigh and Aliev

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Dashgyn Aliev
Dashgyn Aliev

Alexander Helbig raised under the gun and both blinds decided to make the call. The flop brought {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and both blinds checked to Helbig who bet 175,000. Robert Haigh was seated in the small blind and he decided to make the call. Dashgyn Aliev sat in the big blind and he raised it up to 350,000 and that got Helbig to fold.

Haigh thought about it for a while but eventually he made the call. On the turn the {K-Diamonds} hit and Haigh now check-called 400,000. The river brought the {K-Clubs} and both players decided to check. Haigh showed {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and Aliev turned over {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}. The pot was split and both players took a little of Helbig's stack.

Dashgyn Aliev raised to 125,000 under the gun and the action was folded to Calvin Anderson in the small blind. The agressive American pro moved all in for 1,230,000 and that put the action on Pascal Vos. Vos moved all in over the top for 2,500,000 total and Aliev went into the tank. After a while he open folded {A-Spades}{J-Spades} and a heads-up showdown was upon us!

Calvin Anderson: {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}
Pascal Vos: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}{J-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Anderson was knocked out in 10th place! A redraw will follow now as the remaining nine players will all take place at the last table.
