The tournament has concluded for the evening, and five players will return tomorrow to the Gold section in Paris at 11:00 a.m. Blinds will continue in level 36 with blinds at 300,000/600,000/600,000. Recap will follow shortly.
Lisa Tan shoved all-in for 8,000,000 from cutoff and, after asking for a count, Seong Han in the big blind called.
Lisa Tan: A♠10♥
Seong Han: A♦9♦
Tan was looking at a potential double up when the dealer flopped 7♣2♦J♥. She maintained her lead on the Q♦ turn but it also gave Han more outs with a flush draw.
A cheer came out of Han when the river 10♦ fell. Tan was initially confused as she hit a pair on the river until it was showed to her that Han had completed his flush.
Han crossed over to apologize to Tan, who had been such a good sport throughout the day. Tan smiled and said it was okay then went on her way.
Adriaan Jacobs opened to 1,200,000 under the gun and both the blinds, Paul Merlette in small and Lisa Tan in big called.
The flop came 7♣3♥4♦. Tan fired 1,500,000 and only Jacobs called.
On the 4♠ turn, Tan kept the pressure with a 2,600,000 bet. After a few seconds of thinking, Jacobs went beyond and made it 9,000,000. It was Tan's turn to tank. After a minute, she announced all in for around 40,000,000.
Jacobs looked up at the ceiling, took a deep breath, then called.
Adriaan Jacobs: 7♠7♦
Lisa Tan: A♥2♥
Tan had ace-high while Jacobs had turned a full house. The river 6♣ was a formality.
Paul Merlette opened to 1,200,000 from cutoff and got a customer in Xingwei Chen in the big blind.
The flop came 9♥2♥A♦. After a check, Merlette continued with 1,500,000.
Action went check, check on the turn 3♥.
After another check on the river 10♥, Merlette shot out 3,000,000 sending Chen to the tank.
Chen was taking so much time that Merlette said, "Whatever you do, I'm going to call."
That seemed to trigger Chen to call. Merlette tabled Q♠10♦ for a pair of tens, then Chen showed A♠8♥ for top pair.
As Chen scooped the pot, Merlette said to no one in particular, "Maybe I should have kept quiet."
In the small blind Paul Merlette opened for 1,200,000. Big blind Lisa Tan called.
The dealer spread A♣J♦Q♠. Merlette continued with 1,500,000 and still Tan hung on.
On the 10♠ turn, Merlette checked. Tan fired 4,500,000. Merlette went beyond and made it 10,000,000 which was enough to make the chip leader fold.
Lisa Tan opened to 1,200,000 on the button and Adriaan Jacobs called in the small blind.
The flop came 3♠9♦7♠. Both players checked through the 9♠ turn.
Jacobs fired 4,200,000 sending Tan to the tank. "I need to think about this," she said.
She picked the chips out and, after a couple of minutes, called.
Jacobs tabled J♣J♥ prompting Tan to muck her hand.

The turn 3♠ fell and Merlette fired 1,500,000. Han called.
Merlette shot out another 2,500,000 on the river 5♠. Han confirmed the bet amount before making the call.
