Alvarado Doubles

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

JC Alvarado shoved his last 173,000 from the under-the-gun position. Two seats over it was Christoph Vogelsang who made the call. All other players folded, and Alvarado's {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} was dominated by Vogelsang's {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}. The {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop was big for Alvarado, and the {3-Spades} on the turn made sure he was going to double up. The {J-Hearts} finished off the board on the river, and Alvarado moved to about 400,000 in chips.

Les Knocks Out Voulgaris and Kenney

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Haralabos Voulgaris - Jason Les
Haralabos Voulgaris - Jason Les

Jason Les just took out two players, sending Haralabos Voulgaris and Bryn Kenney to the rail in the same hand.

In all-in preflop action, Les' {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades} was up against Voulgaris' {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and Kenney's {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}. Needless to say, Les was in a great spot in this hand.

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}, and just like that the tournament lost two players.

O'Dwyer Doubles Through Egan

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Michael Egan has been very active and just raised again, making it 50,000 to go to kick off the action. Bryn Kenney three-bet to 123,000 with 820,000 left behind, and then Steve O'Dwyer made it 265,000. Egan tanked for a bit before he moved all in. With that, he put both of his opponents all in.

Kenney gave it some thought before he folded, but O'Dwyer went the other way, double-checking his cards before making the call.

O'Dwyer: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
Egan: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {3-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, and O'Dwyer doubled up with his pocket kings, to move back to 1.7 million.

Greenwood Gone, Egan Wins Another One

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Sam Greenwood
Sam Greenwood

Michael Egan raised to 37,000, and Sam Greenwood moved all in for 250,000 from his immediate left. The action folded back around to Egan, and he quickly made the call.

Egan: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Greenwood: {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}

The window card was the {2-Spades}, but it was followed by the {9-Diamonds} and the {10-Clubs}, giving Egan a higher set.

"What a tease," Haralabos Voulgaris said, before the turn brought the {K-Spades}. The river was the {J-Hearts} to send Greenwood to the rail, and Egan collected the pot.

O'Dwyer Runs Into Egan's Set

Level 13 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

On a flop of {7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, we saw Steve O'Dwyer check. Michael Egan made a bet of 50,000, and O'Dwyer was quick to call.

O'Dwyer check-called another 130,000 on the {K-Diamonds} turn and check-called again on the {Q-Spades} river, but for 325,000 this time. Egan showed the {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}, and O'Dwyer quickly mucked.

Vogelsang Doubles Buldygin

Level 13 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Byron Kaverman opened for 37,000 and Christoph Vogelsang in the hijack three bet to 103,000. Viacheslav Buldygin in the cutoff shoved all in for 240,000 and action folded to Vogelsang. The German made the call and the two of them turned over their cards. Vogelsang showed {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}, Buldygin had {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs} to show for. The board ran out {A-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Buldygin doubled.

1.8 Million Coin Flip Ends Rossiter's Tournament Life

Level 13 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Jeff Rossiter
Jeff Rossiter

As we arrived on Fedor Holz's table he had 97,000 in front of him and Jeff Rossiter had 245,000 committed. Action was on Holz and he pushed all in. Rossiter wasn't the happiest person in the world, but he did call almost instantly for his 900,000 stack.

Holz showed {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} and Rossiter turned over {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}.

What started out as a coin flip soon turned into a nightmare for Rossiter: {Q-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} on the flop. The {6-Hearts} on the turn left him drawing dead and the {J-Clubs} on the river was there just for good measures. Rossiter made his way to the exit, Holz started stacking his 2.7 million stack.

Voulgaris Busts Badziakouski

Level 13 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Haralabos Voulgaris
Haralabos Voulgaris

From under the gun, Mikita Badziakouski raised all in for approximately 125,000. Haralabos Voulgaris reraised all in from middle position, and everyone else folded.

Badziakouski had the {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and was at risk against Voulgaris' {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}, but he pulled ahead on the {J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop with a set of fives. The turn was the {8-Clubs} to add a flush draw for Voulgaris, and the river completed the flush with the {2-Clubs} hitting the table. With that, Voulgaris won the hand and eliminated Badziakouski from the tournament.

Tollerene and Holz Battling

Level 13 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Fedor Holz
Fedor Holz

Fedor Holz and Ben Tollerene have been going to war lately, seated right next to each other in the tournament and playing two recent hands against one another. Unfortunately for Tollerene, these hands didn't go his way with Holz winning both of the pots.

On the first hand, we picked up the action on the {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop. Tollerene checked, and Holz bet 77,000. Tollerene thought for a bit, then made the call.

The turn card was the {7-Clubs}, and Tollerene checked again. This time, Holz's wager was priced at 166,000, but it didn't scare Tollerene away. He took his time, then called, and the {Q-Hearts} landed on the river. Tollerene checked, and Holz also checked after a little bit of thought.

Tollerene showed the {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} for a pair of sevens, but his hand was no good against Holz's {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and the young German scooped the pot.

On the next hand, action folded to Tollerene in the small blind. He put in a raise, and Holz called from the big blind to see the flop come down {Q-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. Tollerene bet 60,000, Holz called, and the turn was the {J-Diamonds}.

Tollerene slowed down with a check on fourth street, and Holz pounced with a bet of 118,000. Tollerene called, and the {9-Clubs} completed the board. Tollerene checked, having a stack of 436,000 behind. Holz thought for a minute or so and then stuck out a tall stack of cherry-colored T25,000 chips to put Tollerene all in. Now it was Tollerene's turn to think, and think he did.

Tollerene thought for several long minutes, but in the end he couldn't find a call and passed with a fold. Holz won the pot and moved up to 1.75 million in chips.
