Kenney Crushing

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Bryn Kenney opened for 3,500 from the cutoff and was met by a three-bet to 8,300 from Enrico Camosci on the button. The blinds both folded, Kenney called, and the flop came down {j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. Both players checked, and then Kenney led out for 13,600 on the {8-Hearts} turn.

Camosci made the call and then watched his opponent fire out 27,700 on the {2-Diamonds} river. Camosci thought for a few moments before making the call, but mucked just as soon as Kenney tabled the {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for top pair.

A lot of Chips on that Table

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Jaroslaw Sikora opened to 3,200 and Jens Lakemeier three-bet to 16,500 from the button before Anton Bertilsson four-bet to 35,500. Sikora folded and Lakemeier called to see the flop of {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. Bertilsson continued for 25,000 and was called before moving all in for 96,800 on the {2-Diamonds} turn.

Lakemeier tanked for quite some time and then folded. The table contains four players with more than double the current average.

Soininen Also Eliminated

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

The €10,200 Single-Day High Roller finalist Niko Soininen had bagged up chips on Day 1a and was sitting on the feature table along with Dominik Panka, Mickey Petersen and Kellyann Heffernan. That was until very recently though, because the TV crew just stripped him off the microphone as the Finn had been running out of chips entirely.

Panka Vanished from the Feature Table

The cards were almost rushed away, but former PCA champion Dominik Panka was just sent to the rail after being eliminated on the feature table. He was all in and at risk on a short stack with {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts} and found top pair on the flop, Mike McDonald however turned an ace with his {A-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and even completed a straight on the river.

O'Dwyer Defends

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Steve O'Dwyer
Steve O'Dwyer

Steve O'Dwyer defended his big blind against a late position raise going heads up to a {k-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} flop.

Both players checked, but when the {3-Hearts} turn came down, O'Dwyer led for 5,500. The original raiser did it again, making it 17,000 to see a river.

O'Dwyer called and the {j-Hearts} came down on the river. O'Dwyer tapped his arm indicating a check and his opponent went deep into the tank.

Two minutes later he emerged with a check of his own and O'Dwyer showed {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. His opponent mucked allowing a sinking O'Dwyer to right the ship again.

Bahna Pays off Jaka

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Gathering from the table talk, Hani Bahna had checked the turn {5-Spades}{9-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and then faced a bet worth 42,000 on the {8-Hearts} river by Jaka. Bahna eventually called off and was shown {A-Hearts}{J-Spades} for the nut flush to shake his head for half a minute.
