Dietrich Fast off to a Slow Start

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

It's been a tough couple of minutes for Dietrich Fast. First he checked a board of {5-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{k-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{2-Spades} to his opponent who checked behind. Fast showed {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs} but his opponent had him beat with {a-Spades}{5-Spades} and he raked in a 20,000 chip pot.

A short while later, a player opened under the gun and Dietrich Fast three-bet to 1,500 from the next position. Kiryl Radzivonau called in the cutoff and the initial raiser got out of the way.

The flop was {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. Fast bet 2,200 and Radzivonau called. The turn was the {a-Diamonds} and Fast checked to his opponent who bet 5,175. This time it was Fast who made the call.

The river was the {6-Hearts} and Fast checked to his Belarussian opponent who moved all in. Fast thought for a few moments before flinging {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} face up across the board, mucking them in the process.

Fast isn't out of this tournament yet, sitting with still 22,000 chips. However, there is a single re-entry should he need it.

Vladimir Troyanovskiy vs Pascal Lefrancois

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante
Vladimir Troyanovskiy (from the €50,000 Super High Roller)
Vladimir Troyanovskiy (from the €50,000 Super High Roller)

It folds to Pascal Lefrancois on the button who puts out 150 in chips. However, the opening blind level in the €10,000 High Roller is 100/200, therefore it was ruled just a call. The small blind folded and Vladimir Troyanovskiy checked his big blind.

The Russian had a wicked smile on his face as he checked a flop of {7-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} to his opponent who bet 200. Troyanovskiy then check-raised to 600 and Lefrancois three-bet to 1,900. Troyanovskiy called.

The turn was the {k-Spades} and Troyanovskiy check-called a bet of 1,500 from his opponent. Both players checked the {q-Diamonds} on the river and Troyanovskiy turned over {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} for top pair, while his opponent showed {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} for a set of threes. Lefrancois raked in the pot, shaking his head slightly as Troyanovskiy still grinned.
