Daniel Dvoress
Daniel Dvoress

On a flop of {J-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds} we saw small blind Daniel Dvoress bet out 6,600. Big blind Sergi Reixach called and saw Dvoress check to him on the {7-Clubs}-turn. Reixach bet 17,000 and Dvoress called.

The river came the {9-Hearts} and Dvoress checked again. Reixach slid forward a big tower of 5,000-chips. Upon counting, it turned out to be a bet of 90,000.

Dvoress counted his own stack, 79,700, and tanked for a bit. He eventually tossed in a single 1,000-chip to call. Reixach showed {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts} and Dvoress open-mucked his {5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}.

Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

On a board of {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}{5-Diamonds}, we saw Justin Bonomo bet 28,000 out of the big blind. Isaac Haxton, seated in the hijack, contemplated what to do for a bit before he called.

The {2-Diamonds} fell on the river and Bonomo moved all in. Haxton tanked for a bit before he called for his remaining 44,800.

Bonomo showed {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} and Haxton followed with an apology as he turned over {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}. Bonomo now short, Haxton at 184,000.

Fatehi Rivers a Set

Level 1 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

We caught the tail end of a hand between Daniel Dvoress (cutoff) and Ali Reza Fatehi (big blind). The board was {J-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades} as Fatehi check-called a bet of 8,000. The river came the {4-Hearts} and Fatehi bet 15,000. Dvoress called, but mucked upon being shown {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} for the rivered set.

Adrian Mateos Eliminated

Level 1 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

EPT Grand Final champion Adrian Mateos, who finished third in the first edition of this event this week for €260,300, has been eliminated. Daniel Dvoress filled us in on the details.

Dvoress opened for 3,000 and small blind Alexandros "mexican222" Kolonias called. Adrian Mateos squeezed from the big blind for 14,000 and both Dvoress and Kolonias called.

The flop came {A-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Kolonias checked. Mateos bet 20,000 and Dvoress folded, Kolonias called.

Kolonias checked again on the {2-Clubs} turn and saw Mateos push all in. Kolonias called with {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. Mateos had {A-}{K-} and after the river blanked, he got up and made his exit.
