Baburin Busts Di Cicco

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

On a flop of {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, Virgilio Di Cicco ended up all in with a flush draw and had a dry smile on the face as table neighbor Sergey Baburin had the higher flush draw.

Virgilio Di Cicco: {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Sergey baburin: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The {5-Diamonds} turn instantly left Di Cicco drawing dead, which made the {6-Hearts} river a formality.

Panyak Eliminated by Dahan

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Maxim Panyak ended up all in for around 130,000 and Haim Dahan had him covered by just a few big blinds.

Panyak tabled {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} and Dahan was well ahead with the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}. The board ran out {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Panyak joined the long list of early casualties. In the one seat on his former table, Daniel Ghionoiu has joined the biggest stacks.

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Davide Nughes ended up all in and at risk before the flop with the {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for 184,000 and Jerwin Pasco looked him up with {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}. Barden Runs Into Aces

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The cards were already on their backs with Kevin Barden at risk holding {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, and Pascal Hocquard Lajoux had him crushed with {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}. Nothing changed on the {k-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} board and that spelled the end for Barden.

Corentin Ropert
Corentin Ropert

Dinesh Alt took a big hit in the final hand of Day 1b and suffered the final blow in a bigger pot early into Day 2 as he fell victim to the early hot run of Corentin Ropert. After a raise by Ropert and a call by Alt on the button, it was Ropert that check-jammed the {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop and Alt called.

Dinesh Alt: {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Corentin Ropert: {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

Ropert had a gutshot straight flush draw, and while the {6-Clubs} bricked, the {5-Hearts} river improved the Frenchman to a flush and sent Alt to the rail.
