Falus Hits the Nuts, Holds For a Massive Double

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Louis Vlamynck bet 1,700 from the hijack on a flop of 109Q, and Daniel Falus called in the cutoff. Jean Surlemont then raised to 5,600 in the big blind, and both opponents called.

The turn was the A, and Surlemont checked to Vlamynck, who bet 22,000. Falus then moved all in for 48,600, and Surlemont folded, but Vlamynck quickly called to put Falus at risk.

Falus showed KJ for the nut straight, while Vlamynck had QQ for a set. Falus needed to avoid the board pairing on the river, and he dodged the 5 as he slammed the table in celebration and earned the massive double-up.

Neiva Puts Sitbon Deep Into Tank

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

From the small blind, Julien Sitbon checked the 964Q10 river over to Manuel Neiva in early position. With the pot amounting to 29,000, Neiva moved all in for 23,000.

For several minutes, Sitbon thought, talked, and tried to read his opponent. The stoic Neiva just remained silent and kept doing so when the clock was called on Sitbon.

Sitbon had not made a decision by the end of his 30-second countdown, and his hand was consequently declared dead.

Custodio Wins the Battle of Big Draws

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Daniel Custodio bet 3,500 from the button on a flop of 5K4, Eduardo Amaral moved all in for 19,100 in the small blind, and Custodio called.

Eduardo Amaral: A6 All in
Daniel Custodio: 87

Custodio had straight and flush draws, while Amaral was chasing the nut flush draw. The 7 turn improved Custodio to a pair, and Amaral couldn't catch up on the 4 river as he was sent to the rail.

Lybaert Leaves in Two Stages

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

A pot of 20,000 had been created by Benedetto Sutera in the big blind and Bart Lybaert in middle position when they went to the 3445K river. Sutera checked to Lybaert, who made a pot-sized bet for the majority of his stack.

Sutera pondered for a bit before he tossed in calling chips. Lybaert could only show ace-high with AQ, meaning Sutera's 99 was enough to win the big pot.

Lybaert left himself 3,300, which he moved all in from under the gun the next hand. Patrick El Kallas was the only interested party, calling in the hijack.

Bart Lybaert: J4 All in
Patrick El Kallas: KQ

El Kallas flopped top pair on 2Q8 for a big lead. The 9 turn gave Lybaert some outs, but the 6 river was not one of them.
