Wojciechowski on Piles After Eliminating Mykhailov; Vauquelin Deeply Regrets Fold

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Pawel Wojciechowski
Pawel Wojciechowski

Andrii Mykhailov had pushed all in for 74,000 in the hijack and was called by Pawel Wojciechowski on the button.

Laurent Vauquelin then made it 200,000 to go in the small blind, after which Wojciechowski reshoved.

Vauquelin went deep into the tank, eventually deciding to preserve the 80 big blinds he had behind by mucking his cards. However, the Frenchman shot up in frustration when the cards were revealed.

Andrii Mykhailov: AJ All in
Pawel Wojciechowski: JJ

Wojciechowski comfortably won the hand when the 104577 board remained free of aces, knocking out Mykhailov.

Once Mykhailov had said his goodbyes, Vauquelin admitted he had folded queens and thus missed out on winning the biggest pot of the tournament so far.

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Alexis Lucarini got his stack of 93,000 in preflop against Tomas Jozonis, putting him at risk of elimination.

Alexis Lucarini: KQ All in
Tomas Jozonis: AJ

Lucarini made a pair of queens on the 6Q753 board to double up and remain in contention.

At the same time, Cesar Garcia and Mathieu His were playing a pot of 155,000 on an adjacent table. His bet 90,000 on the 5A56 turn from the big big blind, which Garcia called on the button.

His slowed down on the 6 river, checking it over to Garcia before folding to the latter's all-in bet.

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Mokri Four-Bets and Shows... a Three

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Kayhan Mokri raised to 18,000 in middle position and Joachim Meisolle called in the hijack. Yuliyan Kolev then three-bet to 62,000 on the button.

Mokri came back with a four-bet to 140,000, and Meisolle asked for a count of Mokri's remaining chips but eventually folded. Kolev also sent his cards into the muck, and Mokri turned over the 3, wagging his finger at Kolev.

"Now it's your turn," Mokri said to Meisolle.

Daniel Moran
Daniel Moran

Adrian State raised to 20,000 under the gun, and was three-bet to 55,000 by Daniel Moran in the next seat over. It then folded to Timur Margolin in the cutoff, who called off his stack of 52,000.

State was not done raising, however, and put in a four-bet to 155,000. Moran went over the top once more, shoving all in for 473,000. State snap-called with the covering stack.

Timur Margolin: 1010 All in
Daniel Moran: KK All in
Adrian State: AK

The 9578 board brought some excitement, but the 9 river saw Moran's kings hold to scoop the huge pot and more than double up. Margolin, on the other hand, saw his Main Event come to an end.

Clement Guilleminot was all-in for 80,000 in middle position, Natan Chauskin reshoved for 150,000 on the button, and small blind Joshua Boulton put both opponents at risk before the flop.

Clement Guilleminot: KJ All in
Natan Chauskin: AQ All in
Joshua Boulton: AK

Boulton had both opponents dominated and was poised for the double knockout as the board came 88105. The river, though, was the J and Guilleminot hit two pair to take the main pot of around 250,000, while Boulton claimed the side pot to send Chauskin to the rail.

"You broke even," Alex Keating said to Boulton.

Perrone Finds Ideal Timing for Aces

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Lucas Bardot opened to 16,000 in early position. Mathew Frankland upped the ante to 48,000 in the cutoff, after which Michael Perrone four-bet all in for 135,000.

Bardot got out of the way, but Frankland called with the covering stack.

Michael Perrone: AA All in
Mathew Frankland: QJ

"That's bad news," Frankland stated as the cards were flipped up.

The recent winner of the €2,700 PS Open High Roller received some outs on the 44108 turn, but the A river gave Perrone a full house to double in style.
